One of the oldest eatery in Muar town, according to my mum, this food stall already opened for more than 50 years. Only 80¢ since 70's, very popular for their delicious yet very affordable price, even now a day, food cost rising all over the places.
But this food stall only charging $ 4.50 for a small bowl of Laksa, and additional dollars at $5.50 for a large one. Very decent portion with good taste too.
For me, they probably not those good Laksa with great fragrance taste, creamy coconut flavors. They are more on light, sweet and tasty soup base, for me I really recommend all to ask for more chilli added for better spiciness and balance with the sweet base soup.
Standard ingredients like bean sprouts, fish cake, toupok, and most importantly cockles, no prawns instead, but with such pricing and quality broth, honestly, nothing we customers could ask for.
Wish they will do well and continue serve such quality, delicious, affordable good Laksa in the future. We greatly recommend all to try and support.

Read moreI was taken aback by the dried prawn comment. I have had laksa in numerous states around Malaysia, but I have never had dried shrimp in it. If there were any, I would be disappointed. As stated on the shop's banner, it is one of the best laksa in town. You would never know about this stall unless someone Googled it. I hope it continues from generation to generation, and that many generations will appreciate your food. Only disappointment was we were placed right in front of their altar which I felt uncomfortable. Thankfully the people next to us had just finished and left before we sat down. Best wishes for their business, and congratulations on your great laksa service to...
