I try not to give bad reviews for restaurants. But for this restaurant, it's just to raise awareness for other customers, especially those with kids and elderly.
My wife came across this restaurant on 小红书, so we decided to give it a try. My wife ordered a plate of mee siam with fried chicken while I ordered some toast.
Everything was okay until my wife was attempting to eat the fried chicken. Upon biting on the meat, some red liquid was gushing out through the meat, and we knew the chicken was not cooked throughly. Called the waiter and informed him about it. Just took the plate of meesiam to the kitchen without any form of apologies. Never mind. A couple of minutes later, the same waiter came to our table and asked if we would like to re-fry the uncooked chicken or get a new piece.
We opt to re-fry and continue waiting. A few minutes passed, and the re-fry chicken was served. But, I decided to check again. And guess what, it is still uncooked. Well, we gave up. Went to the cashier straight, asked to waive the plate of mee siam off, made payment, and off we go.
Why were two stars given? Well, for waiving our mee siam off and giving an effort to ask if we want to re-fry the chicken or get a new one. But to be honest, shouldn't the shop straight away inform you that they will prepare a new plate of mee siam with fried chicken rather than asking you for opinions? I have not got much idea on this too....
Read moreAbsolutely delightful experience on a Sunday morning. There was no queue at 8.30am.
Matcha egg cube was awesome. The peanut butter egg cube had more peanut butter crunch and filling compared to peanut butter french toast (which was also soft and flavourful for me).
Egg mayo pocket toast is pretty sweet (maybe condensed milk). I loved the airiness and crunch of the toast. It didnt turn soggy after a long while. Would have been better if the toast was served with some lettuce like shown in the menu.
To my horror, the curry lava egg toast has cold, diluted watery curry. I like the toast and egg but would prefer warm and thick curry like Oriental Kopi's. I loved the crunch and thickness of the toast though!
Honey lemon was extremely sweet. I hope there wasn't sugar added...
I would be back to try...

Mee siam is good! Flavourful and spicy! The chilli is good as well!
Tried their french toast (thick toast). Don't look like the typical kind of french toast (with the eggy taste). Crispy on the outside & really soft in the inside! Seems like they have deep fried the french toast. It is also not very oily. But maybe after eating half of it, might get a little jelak. Wish they have added maple syrup. Also ordered their Kaya & Butter Toast (with wholemeal bread). Bread is well toasted & adequate amount of kaya & butter!
Definitely will be back to try...
