The purchase had made and have enquired about clearing the old furniture, the IKEA staff commented that we could discussed with the logistics company for such arrangements. When the item first arrived, it's late for 6 hours without giving any reason. We assumed could be the weather caused the delay, however when they arrived, I tried to discuss about disposing of old furniture, but driver straight away rejected and said that it's late. I agreed for reschedule. Somehow the driver would want us to accept the item without installation, but i refused as it's being committed. On the same day, the M global contact point agreed to dispatch another team to support for disposal.
Only when the a day before, Saturday noon, called us to said couldn't support with the disposal of old furniture and we need to arrange with ourselves. With such last minute informing, we tried our best to contact for disposal services, and they only able to make it 11.30 am. We tried to reach out with IKEA and M global to reschedule, M global contact point (assumed it's driver) claiming that they yet to receive any order from IKEA, so we tried to reach out with IKEA team and they claimed that M logistics should receive such order since it's the first delivery and both sides trying to push customer to others for no answer.
In such case, me as the customer, am I going to suffer from such and is the M global or IKEA going to blame the customer for not making the arrangement?
With such customer service, I really don't have confidence with both companies as professional could support customer by putting all the blame to customers.
When the item delivered, Ikea have letting down the customer where this time with poor quality products with defects found when upon unbox.
As a customer, I'm lacking confidence with Ikea Malaysia as don't receive any response nor follow up after complaint and now with the...
Read moreOpened in 2017, IKEA Tebrau sits as the anchor tenant of Toppen Shopping Centre. This mall is situated in Tebrau City, about 16km from Johor Bahru Customs & Immigrations Complex.
I had planned a shopping trip to Tebrau City and decided to include these two malls, Toppen Shopping Centre and AEON Mall in my itinerary. Both malls are situated within walking distance from each another and is accessible with an overhead bridge.
IKEA Tebrau provides a fun shopping experience as a pastime. If you take into account of the foreign exchange rate, the prices are slightly more affordable here compared to Singapore. Do allow half a day should you wish to visit both malls for a complete shopping experience.
How to get to IKEA Tebrau by bus from JB Sentral?
