Johor Jaya Family Food Court — Restaurant in Johor

We visited Kola Pasi Indian Food Stall on 18th July 2025. This is the only stall inside the food court behind Johor Jaya Bowling Centre serving Indian food. Very strategic location – just about 1.3 km from Aeon Tebrau City, 1.2 km from IKEA Desa Tebrau, and around 15 km (~25 mins) from CIQ JB.

We ordered: Satti Soru – Nethili Sambal Satti Soru - Sotong Asam Pedas with Pulicha Keerai

Nethili sambal tasted okay, above average. Sotong satti soru was very tasty and full of flavour. Asam pedas with ikan pari (stingray) was out of taste and we the fish was not fresh and the gravy is very oily. However, upon informing the owner lady, she immediately changed it to chicken satti soru, which was tasty and satisfying.

The Pulicha Keerai was the highlight – really tasty and complemented the dishes well.

Service was good and very fast, and they took our feedback professionally.

Overall, it was an above average experience with tasty Indian dishes, reasonable prices, and quick service.

Anyone in this area must try this stall if you are craving authentic South Indian style satti soru and...

Has not been here for quite sometime. Used to be very crowded once during night time before the pandemic Covid19... It's my second visit since PKPP. This place hasn't change much ever since. There are lots of varieties of local hawker's foods and several stalls of local Malay's varieties foods here too.. The stage is still there but no performance singers allowed due to PKPP SOP for time being... Anyway, it's a good place for families or meeting up friends for a quick bite of local hawker's foods or maybe have some cold beers while enjoying the local performance singers. Price of the hawker's foods here are standard rates and reasonable...

Mother of all Food Courts, centre , south of M’sia incl S’pore! Best, delicious & comprehensively huge varieties of 300 stalls all specially selected, extremely large plc , can fit in 10,000 heads, very clean floors & toilets! Live music every night from 8 to 12 - all pro artists! KTV from 6.45 to 8! Only Rm3 too cheap & attract all sorts amateurs & non singers?
