This is proof that you don't need a silver fork to eat good food. An Italian restaurant that makes authentic Italian food accessible and affordable! The ingredients are high-quality, they serve REAL Italian herb sausages, and the marinara tomato sauce is not cheap prego tomato ketchup! I recommend this place to anyone for an introduction to proper, real Italian food. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion. The place is no-frills and cosy and the service was very polite, friendly and warm. No shortcuts, no Malaysian-ised (cili sauce, mayo, frozen vege, cheap processed ingredients substitutions).
The menu that has a huge selection of oven-baked pizzas, platters, pastas, starters, appetisers, salads and desserts. Many of the items can only be found in fancy restaurants. The huge oven can be seen at the entrance!
What I had: Starter: a delicious and crispy fried cheese ravioli with marinara dipping sauce. Main: Hot platter sausage parmesan with toasted garlic baguette and a bowl of pasta of my choice - Served in really generous portion, perfect for big eaters or sharing so the tummy can try other items. Highly recommended! Dessert : Spumoni, an Italian gelato ice cream of 3 layers, cherry, vanilla and pistachio. Tart, creamy and refreshing! What a unique taste! I will definitely come again to be transported in Italy! Advisable you order to take away if you're ordering for...
Read moreBeen wanting to try this place for a while, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm service that instantly made us feel at home. The cozy interior paired with romantic Italian music set the perfect vibe — honestly, we were already impressed before the food even arrived.
As someone who’s never really tried authentic Italian food before (and honestly, not super fussed about “authenticity” anyway 😂), this was an unforgettable culinary experience. The menu was overwhelming in the best way — we couldn’t decide what to order because everything sounded amazing.
We ended up trying the cheesy chicken and a meat pizza (forgot the names 😅), and both were exceptional. Like — explosions of flavour, juicy (not dry at all), fresh tomato sauce, generous meat toppings — absolutely blew our minds. The cheesy garlic bread and Alfredo pasta? Gone in minutes. SO good. And the creme brulee was just amazing, one wasnt enough
Special shoutout to the service staff (wish we got his name!) refilled our iced water without us even asking, and wiped down our table after every dish 😭😭 we felt so special hahaha 🩷
We promised each other this is the spot for every future...
Read moreVisited this place after seeing it a few times and reading decent reviews. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, which gave a good first impression. However, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. Many items on the menu weren’t available, including root beer, frozen shakes, and Caesar salad. When we asked for recommendations, the staff simply said “everything is a bestseller,” which didn’t feel very helpful. After rephrasing asking for recommendation, two pizza options were suggested.
We ordered a salad, two pizzas, and a pasta. The salad arrived in about 10 minutes, but the pasta and pizzas took over 40 minutes and were served together. During that time, there was no update or communication from the staff, and my partner had to wait while I ate alone my salad. Just wonder why it took so long for them as there were only two tables including ours. A simple heads-up about the wait would have improved the experience.
On the positive side, the pizza was fresh and tasty, and the pasta was decent. Still, the overall service and lack of menu availability left us disappointed. Probably...
