I have been a regular patron of this restaurant for years. It’s a well-known Indian eatery in the area, and although it may not serve what I would call authentic Indian food, I notice that many Indian locals frequent the place.
The restaurant is best known for a few dishes, including their Indian set lunch, where customers choose dishes from a display counter, and roti starting at 3:30 p.m., along with tandoori chicken and naan. As for drinks, their previous signature beverages included "blu" (a mix of coffee and milk tea), coffee, and milk tea. However, it’s important to note that some of the drinks are not freshly made-to-order. Instead, they seem to pre-boil the tea and store it in containers before mixing with milk and serving it.
During my latest visit, after finishing my meal, I was sipping on a milk tea (teh tarik) when I noticed something unusual in the drink. At first, I thought it was a tea leaf, but after spitting it out, I discovered it was a fly. I immediately reported this to a waiter, but unfortunately, I received no response. When I later informed the supervisor (also acting as cashier) while paying the bill, I was told the fly may have gotten in when the drink was prepared. While I didn’t ask for a replacement or refund, for obvious reasons, I would have appreciated a better response or at least an apology.
Given the lack of concern for hygiene, I don’t plan to return unless there’s a clear improvement in...

The service is super slow even though no crowd. Waited for almost 10 mins still no one attend until i go inside asked them then only they come and take order. Atlst you can fix a calling button in each table Incase you feel you might overlook customer at outside. If you only take order those sitting inside then you dont need to put table outside! So many waiters but all standing inside only no one is coming outside! Lets talk about the food Kesari only have rawa n color not even a single cashew nuts o kismis of course now everything is expensive but you also increase the price right atlst put 1 kismis n cashew nuts not a empty kesari , poori i dont know how thin they make the flour until i only see the cruch poori potato alt of ajinamoto. TBH they Just Ruined my morning mood...!! Such a...
Read moreWent there on the 24th July for breakfast. Looking forward to tosai and idli but was told that these items were not available due to shortage of staff. So had putu mayam with dal, curry puffs and a special kind of egg. Food was very good. I gave 3 stars due to the service provided. It's obvious they didn't have enough waiters to take orders and serve food. The poor guy at the cashier had to do the cashier's job as well as take orders and serve. He was trying his best to please customers who were fed-up of waiting. Looks like this issue of not having enough staff is a long standing issue of the restaurant. The management should look into solving this problem as I believe this restaurant has a lot of potential in being one of the best Indian restaurants in JB. Their curry puffs were so different from other places and deserve a 5 star. Do try it. Not forgetting there was a special kind of egg coated in some batter....
