I was here on Wednesday at 1710H. Several menus not available i.e. Nasi Lemak & Mee Rebus. Probably due to its approaching closing time (5:30pm). So I settled for Fried Carrot Cake with Egg (RM9.90) which is one of chef recommendations. Charred at the outside & soft at the inside. Some were actually burnt! (look at attached photos). This caused slight bitter aftertaste found on the wrapped fried egg. Bite sizes are chunkier than most fried carrot cakes I’ve tasted. Distinctive with its own style of fried texture of carrot cake. I wish it’s less over-fried for some of the pieces.
I also had a Rose Syrup Bancau (RM5), a syrupy concoction with cincau. Aromatic drinks with chewy cincau.
Overall it’s pretty delectable especially twist of the carrot cake. The takeaway hints: don’t come when it’s near to closing hours (frankly not much choice for me due to work commitment 😅). I reckon they have other great...

Then we change order, after a while waiter came and told us again food was sold out … then have to change again the order. This process was repeated in 3 times 🥹🥲😡🤬, end up we just cancel it!!! Restaurant has been expand. More seat and space.

Restaurant quite hot 🥵, Back door of restaurant are open, a lot of crow flying waiting for food. Aircond inside just for decoration. Seat was limited. Been here few time, but every time need to wait for seat. Have to wait outside for long time sweating 😅 especially during this hot weather. (Fried carrot cake不推荐分量超极少,而且超级咸不建议点😬)Parking limited...
Read moreMy sister brought my family here for a treat. It is my first time here. I was impressed by the quality of the service from the workers, especially the older Chinese woman. I ordered the Hainanese fried chicken chop while the rest had the Volcano chicken chop. We also ordered some mushroom soup and the sweet potato balls ribena longan, iced tea and ribena soda. Food and drinks were nice. The volcano chicken chop was extremely spicy 🌋 🔥 as there were chilli flakes sprinkled EVERYWHERE, literally! On the vegetable sides, on the chicken chop itself, on the plate, basically an explosion of chilli flakes. My wives enjoyed every bit of it but be ready for the consequences 🧻🚻🚽🪠
The price is a little on the high end but once in a while is fine. The toast and teas looked good too. May come again and try them on another visit. Good job old...
