I’m a regular customer at this ZUS Coffee outlet I usually take away, sometimes dine in. But honestly, I’m really disappointed with the way the staff here treat customers. Every time I come, the staff never greet or welcome anyone. Whenever I ask a question, they look annoyed and act unfriendly, like I’m disturbing them.
Once, I had an issue with the payment method, and they made me feel judged , as if I couldn’t afford to pay. I tried to be understanding, thinking maybe they were just burnt out. But recently, I came again with my neighbour to chill. It wasn’t even busy, but after queueing for quite a while, one of the staff (a small-sized girl wearing a mask, fair skin) told us to order through the app. I said fine, but when I mentioned my phone battery was dying and asked if I could order manually, she rudely replied, “No, it’s hard for us to make drinks if not through the app.” Her tone was extremely rude and aggressive , totally uncalled for.
I ended up borrowing my neighbour’s phone to order, struggling with the app since I’m not that familiar with it. Around 10 p.m., the same staff started sweeping the floor and slamming chairs loudly even though there were still customers sitting and relaxing. That was just so unprofessional.
This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced such behavior from staff here . it’s happened several times. I actually stopped going to Starbucks because I wanted to support ZUS, but this kind of attitude really makes me regret that choice. Please take serious action regarding your staff’s behavior. I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent visit to one of your outlets. As a regular customer who usually enjoys your service and drinks, this experience was extremely frustrating and far below your usual standards.
Firstly, the staff were unhelpful and rude. Only the staff in charge at the cashier was okay. When I asked a question, I was simply pointed at without any proper explanation or response even after I asked twice. Even when i say thanks, not even respond or at least smile.This lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable.
Secondly, the lighting in the cafe was very poor. It was so dark that it made the environment uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Lastly, the drink I received was poorly sealed, and the cup wasn’t even filled properly. This kind of carelessness is not something I expect from a brand like ZUS.
This has been the worst experience I’ve had. I’m very disappointed with the service, the condition of the cafe, and the quality of the drink I was served.
