👎🏼👎🏼 Unpleasant Experience at Kluang Mall Secret Recipe I recently dined at Secret Recipe in Kluang Mall, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. First, there was no physical menu card available, and customers are required to use a QR code to access the menu. This may be convenient for some, but it’s not customer-friendly for everyone. I strongly urge the restaurant to bring back the traditional menu system, as it caters to a wider range of patrons. Another major issue was the high service charge (10%) and SST (6%). Considering that customers have to place orders themselves and there’s minimal service involved, this charge feels excessive and unjustified. I ordered the Floral Lychee Cooler, and it was a big letdown. Instead of using proper ice cubes, they filled the drink with crushed ice (ais batu hancur). This is a poor tactic to dilute the drink faster, and it felt like a way to cut corners. Because of this, the drink was finished in just a few sips, which was extremely disappointing. I don’t support establishments that use such practices – proper ice cubes should be standard. Overall, the experience didn’t justify the cost. I hope the management addresses these issues, as they detract from what could otherwise be a reliable dining option.

They forgot our order of 4 chicken chops and we were left waiting... Then my friend found a fly in his drink .. and the staff had the audacity to say lepas tu when we reflected this issue to them. . Rotten attitude terrible hygiene dint ever come here again. As I'm writing this I'm still waiting for my food ......

One of our default places to dine in whilst in Kluang (son loves pasta). He had the Aglio olio with beef strips (minus the mushroom) which is constantly good! I had the Thai Som Time Noodle salad which was fresh, with a little bit of zing and scrumptious. A pleasant experience.

WORST BRANCH OF SECRET RECIPE. Me and my family came from kuala lumpur and we had our meals at secret recipe kluang mall to celebrate my grandad’s birthday, 2 girls staff is very rude. First staff was talking to us with no manners when they gave us wrong orders and tell us that it was our fault when it was them who didn’t tell us what dish was it ? How could we differentiate between chicken and beef bolognaise?? Then got a string of hair in my food like hello ?? THAT IS DISGUSTING! Thanks to the manager for speaking nicely to us but the 2 girls staff didn’t even apologise, i hope both of you are...

Poor management from floor to the top:- How come only 1 waiter on weekend, during peak hours? Waiter are not alert with customer who first raised hand to order. She choose whoever she wants to attend first. The waiter is RUDE to us (accused/perli as like we are not patient waiting for the queue, but it’s actually she give the turn to RUDE ppl who cut queue to order)

It’s just a miserable floor management so we decided to leave without ordering.

6-7pm, 29th...
