Sr Dynasty Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Food: 5 Stars This restaurant offered an array of seafood including some of the rare and unique types. Ordered their signature buttermilk lobsters, chili crabs and kamheong lalas. All sumptuous and well-cooked.

Environment: 5 Stars Customers could choose either to sit in the aircon room or the open-air area of the restaurant with magnificent sea view. Both were cooling and provided a pleasant dining environment. The restaurant looked new and maintained quite well. Washroom cleanliness was acceptable too.

Service: 5 Star The lady boss was friendly and helpful in recommending the dishes. Waiters were generally attentive and responsive to our requests swiftly. All the dishes were served pretty fast and smoothly.

Parking: 3 Stars Quite limited parking spaces within the restaurant, and customers had to park at other places outside the restaurant if it was full house.

Location: 5 Stars Situated along the main road of Rengit township which was convenient and easy to find.

Price: 3 Stars The restaurant seemed to have increased the prices of many types of seafood after changing to new menu. It may be quite pricey now compared to the past, but was still more reasonable than some other seafood restaurant competitors within the same...

Found this gem during my trip to Desaru thanks for the local who introduced this seafood restaurant. Is not a fancy type restaurant hence the price is very friendly. If you are someone who enjoy outdoor eating they do have a large backyard which can accommodate 50 tables for you to dine and enjoy the sea view.

Definitely a place where you can go all out in ordering any seafood that you are craving for, as of June 2024 I found the price is very friendly towards the wallet.

Nonetheless do make sure they took the order correctly especially on the portion, we ordered small portions for all of our dishes but they served us a large portion for the bamboo clamps, nonetheless the price is still not that steep so we are fine with that. The waiter got another order wrong for the table next to us so do order carefully.

The food is delicious and nice just a tad on the salty side, so if you are someone who prefer less salty taste like me, do inform the waiter in advance.

Extremely long waiting time, reached the restaurant at around 5.45pm, ordered 6 dishes but only 4 dishes were served, some more waited for over 2 and half hours for all the food to be served. Didn’t even inform us about anything so we just waited for 30 mins for the remaining 2 dishes but when we asked the counter they said that we did not order it. I ordered the dishes one by one at the counter and saw that the person write down my order one by one, end up they claim that we did not order it. Service was extremely poor as well, all the chill and garlic were unavailable and when we asked for a refill of our Chinese tea(in a teapot) they took our kettle and never returned it, after we asked the staff only they brought back the teapot but it turns out that our Chinese tea was turned into chrysanthemum?? Extremely poor experience and would’t recommend. Now going home at around 9.15pm with hungry stomach as only 4 dishes...
