Big Tree Food Corner — Restaurant in Johor

The first when we came is good, me and my wife had dinner here, we ordered seafoods from the Vietnamese lady boss, she’s friendly and good in service, and she suggested the signature dishes to us, and the food quality is good, just above and beyond our expectations.

Because of the great services and satisfaction, we decided to came back again for our lunch in next day, we took mix rice here, the food quality is great and the services provided by mix rice boss and lady boss was remarkable , and they provided free soups for their guests, what I can say is super satisfying with their service.

And our happy time were ruin by a Indonesian lady worker who was a coffee/Tea maker, because my wife would like to prepare the milk for my baby, and she realised the hot water inside the thermos was not hot enough, so I go back to the stall and told the Indonesian worker that I would like to buy some hot water, she was listening what I said, but she didn’t want to prepare the hot water for me, and I’m keep waiting there until a Chinese girl came and served me, I seen the way the girl preparing the hot water for me, it just a simple way, open the hot water dispenser tap and dispense the hot water into the thermos, it’s just a simple steps but the Indonesian worker makes me standing there more than 15 minutes, so disappointed with her working attitude, (I pay the girl RM5.00 for the hot water and told her keep the change), because I can feel that the Indonesian worker was thinking that I was asking for hot water instead of buying the hot water, because of the way she’s serving me,

The highlights of this place include a delightful sea view complemented by refreshing sea breezes, and the option for al fresco seating. I dined here twice, for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, I ordered their signature 鱼片米粉汤, which was really delicious with fish in every bite and no fishy taste. It was unforgettable. As for dinner, the Sweet and Sour Fish dish was decent. Both meals are reasonably priced.

On the downside, I had an unpleasant experience trying to order from the stall across from the 鱼片米粉汤 stall, as the lady in charge had quite an attitude. Needless to say, I opted not to...

This is probably the best zi char place in Sungai Rengit.

Great location just beside the sea. Food is tasty but not in a MSG sort of way. Reasonable pricing unlike some other restaurants here - food in Sungai Rengit tends to be relatively more expensive than other places in Johor because it is a town catering primarily to tourists.
