Lobster was freshly cooked and this steamed lobster made sure that the original lobster taste was being retained. Meat was very tender and juicy.
Salted Egg sotong was very tender and every sotong was covered with the delicious and generous amount of salted egg.
Hotplate Beancurd has lots of ingredients in it. And the bottom egg was well done as well without burnt.
Shark's fins soup is very value for money as the generous amount of ingredients and the amount of soup is a must to order.
Spare ribs is very tasty and tender. The spare ribs they used has more meat ratio than bones. The flavourful meat makes you cant stop eating.

Based on our many past experiences, it seems that we often find nicer food in modest eateries. This place is as modest as can be, no Aircon, plastic chairs, nothing fancy. But that's what my nostalgia loving wife likes about such places.
We had a relatively simple lunch of steamed soon hock (marble goby) HK style, green dragon vegetables, and oyster egg hotplate. We both agreed that food was good, certainly better than the 3.8 score that it currently holds (Apr 2025). We paid around RM$100 odd if I remembered.

Next the food, well done the local lobsters were excellently cooked, had the butter lobsters, absolutely delicious. My boy finished a whole lobster by himself.
The scallops broccoli was very good according to my boy, didn't get to sample the scallops before it was demolished.
I ordered the la la (local clams) with superior soup, a bit disappointed as the superior soup overpowered the taste of la la.
Wifey wanted the Singapore mee hoon, unexpectedly very good and very generous.
