Our dining experience at Super Lobster Restaurant was nothing short of fantastic, and much of that is thanks to the exceptional service provided by Mocha. From the moment we were seated, Mocha was incredibly attentive to our needs, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. We were there during a long weekend and the queue was horrendous. We arrived at 7.45pm and had to wait over an hour before we were seated - and then we had to wait another half hour before food was served just before 10pm.

It was especially frustrating because we could see empty tables left uncleared for almost half an hour. Furthermore, we saw several customer who arrived later got immediate seating. There was a restaurant staff who took about 20minutes to take order from a table with only 2 customers (who also skipped the queue), while the rest of us are waiting hungrily. The boss who was supposed to manage the queue did nothing to expedite or alleviate the wait.

We ordered butter lobster, lala with garlic chili & salted egg prawn, per the staff recommendation. We were not served with any pleasantries. It was a very functional service.

The good - the salted egg prawn is excellent. The sauce is thick and savoury and properly coats the prawn. They were generous with their portions considering the price. We will recommend this dish.

The lala with garlic chili is decent. The lala tasted fresh. Its delicious but not outstanding.

The bad - Their signature and most expensive dish, the butter lobster, was a disappointment. It only managed to impress visually. We thought that fresh lobster should be juicy to maximize the flavours but what we got is a dry overcooked dish. While it was still decent, but we expected much more considering the wait, and overall it did not manage to put a smile to our faces.

The lala was served first, then there's another 20minute wait before the other 2 dishes was served. Nobody attended to us during our dinner (nor did we need them to). We were not served ice cream until we asked for it during payment.

Our conclusion is : come at odd hours, bring your whole family (so you can order more - more sales might get better service), and dont order their butter lobster - then perhaps you might enjoy the experience everyone else seem...

We went here for lunch on Friday. The premise was not crowded.

They offer you to choose some live seafood if you like or you can just sit nicely waiting for the waiters to offer you the menu.

The varian of the menu was superb! There are vast choices of seafood and some of them are delicacies and rarely found. Mostly the food here is seafood and chinese-food style. No pork serves here so it is definitely muslim friendly.

The service was so nice. Kiki who served us could speak Melayu and Chinese. She explained the menu thoroughly.

The lobster here is so special! Served in many recipes and flavours. Lobster Fried with Butter lured us to order it. For local lobster it costed 240 per KG and for imported lobster costed 188 per pcs. We were curious with the local delicacy so we ordered local lobster (min 2 pcs).

We also ordered salted egg squid, their popular beancurd with sp. sauce, and long bean.

They served the food so quick. The lobster quality was excellent! It was cooked into perfection. The meat was so fresh and chewy in a good way. The salted egg squid was my today’s choice as it was perfect!

The only setback was no AC. I am a gurl who needs AC so much. BUT, the ceiling fans worked properly so the breeze could quickly chill my sweaty body. Furthermore there were flies coming to the food, we were a bit struggle fighting them. However, the waiters acted quickly put some candles and case closed! 👌

The service was excellent especially for Kiki who served us nicely. We also got free mango pudding as complimentary.
