Gaia Restaurant — Restaurant in Kajang Municipal Council

Tucked away in Cheras but conveniently accessible via two major motorways, Gaia offers a comfortable dining experience with spacious, air-conditioned interiors and white tablecloths that give it a touch of elegance.

We sampled a variety of dishes: • Bitter gourd in batter – Enjoyable; the batter could’ve been lighter, but the bitterness of the gourd was pleasantly mellowed. • Tofu with minced meat sauce – A solid, flavourful dish. • Two types of vegetables – Stir-fried leaves and sautéed stems, both well-executed and tasty. • Venison – Disappointing; the meat quality was poor, though the sauce was passable. • Yam basket – A highlight of the meal; nicely done. • Prawns – Requested deshelled but arrived with shell on; flavour was okay but nothing remarkable. • Battered calamari – Average; batter was overly thick and heavy. • Desserts – Generally underwhelming. The soy bean curd was standard, and the longan with citrus was the most interesting, though quite sour for some tastes.

Been here several times, and one of us has registered as a member! And been with my small breed dog several times too. And those staff r totally fine with that, and very friendly with him. On 11th March we planned to dinner here as usual with our pet,we sat and the lady served us a menu very politely. When we ready to order the mid age women told me pls bring back our dog inside the car! This is so disrespectful! If we wanna do so, why we bring along our pet to dinner?? And pls be logistics! Would you kept your baby inside the car alone? In this 29° weather? And why don't u told me at the 1st time we visited? Or second time and even 3rd 4th times? Just because u not in a good mood today? And pls note they have no sign to said no pet allowed!! And not a halal restaurant too!! The most important thing is we sat on outside, not even step in the restaurant! And they aren't busy at that moment, just two table is on service! What a bad ppl and bad service here! Would never ever visit to this horrible...

The food was very good. But I really don’t feel happy eating here. I’ve been there three times and the feeling is the same all three times. I’m not happy eating here. Especially the attitude of the waiteress was very bad. First, when I asked the waiter to help me put the birthday cake into the refrigerator, she just ignored me. Secondly, before we asked the waiter to help bring out the birthday cake, the waiter was smart and took out the cake while some of us were eating. Afterwards, we told the waiter that we hadn't finished eating yet. Could you please put the cake back in the refrigerator? Her attitude was one of displeasure, and she took the cake back with an expression of reluctance. The waiteress showed no basic courtesy. I will not come back to this restaurant again nor would I...
