Ikhlas XinJiang Noodles — Restaurant in Kajang Municipal Council

this restaurant deserves more hype !

food: the dishes were all flavourful and tasty !! portion is crazy, definitely for sharing. we ended up packing some of our food home bcs it was so filling.

the bone-in lamb stew (forgot its actual name) was 5/5. super tender meat with strong lamb flavour.

the lamb on stick was spiced to perfection, not too salty and you can eat it without pairing with rice.

the stir fried broccoli is so garlicky !!! please try this if you’re a garlic girl like me. super tasty & the broccoli are softttt.

the mee tarik noodles felt airy, light and thin. definitely not store-bought. the soup is a solid 5, had this herb aftertaste. super refreshing.

dumpling was also delicious with generous filling. the meat inside was not dry and had scallions. had quite a strong ginger taste too but not overpowering.

but maybe skip the minced beef mushroom soup. little beef chunks and the taste is quite plain. expected it to be have more umami bcs of the shitake mushroom but meh.

final thoughts: worth to try & visit again. every dish had its winning point. the only thing is that the restaurant is located in an isolated area… can get dark at night. hopefully this restaurant can maintain the taste and portion...

I always been here 2-3 times a week here before. Now i am not ofteh eating here. The portion not big as before. Too many slice chilie at potato beef. Restaurant so stuffy, smell oily and the aircond is not function. When the chef frying something, the smoke spread at dining room and make us not comfortable. The soup feel not same as before and not fresh..owner plz do something your air circulation in your restaurant.. I eating in bad condition because of heavy smoke....last visit...

I used to order from Grab but I wanted to dine-in. So I called the restaurant trying to enquire if booking is required. I called ten times from 6-8pm no answer. I do not believe on a Wednesday night you are so busy until you cannot even pick up calls. I wonder how many customers you lost if your staffs do not pick up calls. Or is it your business is so good that you do not entertain...
