Signature Steam Fish Head 4/5 Namyue fried pork 4.5/5 Homemade Tauhu 4/5 Salted egg Sotong 5/5 Potato Leaf 3.5/5 A new restaurant just opened in July in the neighbourhood. Came to try. The service is very good. Ample parking space since it's newly completed shoplot. Signboard is quite prominent from the main road. Tried 5 of the dish as recommended by them. Overall, it's above average. The fish head's price is reasonable. It's pretty good but not the best. (Chan Sow Lin is better). The vegetable however is too small a portion for the price. Could have given a little more. I'm not talking about upsizing it to medium or large. I'm talking about the portion needs to match the price. The namyue pork is quite good. Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Reminds me of the same namyue pork at Brewhouse. The salted egg sotong is so far the highlight of the meal. It's generously coated with fragrant curry leaves and a nice portion of the sotong. love it. The homemade tauhu is okay. Abit dry. Would be better if there's a sauce to dip it with. There's others I have not tried yet, will leave it to others to review it.

Excellent service by a relatively young crew. The seating inside is a little stuffy but outdoor seating later in the evening is nice and breezy. Overall food was good. The curry fish head was good with rice and came with enough vegetables to make it sufficient as a one dish meal. This is Recommended. The crispy fried pork belly was well marinated, resulting in a tasty and juicy fried pork. This is an excellent and is Highly Recommended. Their signature fried beancurd and steamed lala were good but not exceptional enough to be their signature dishes? What should be a signature dish is their stir fried sweet potato leaf with fu yee/fermented bean sauce. Very well executed and flavourful, this gets a Highly Recommended. On a return visit, I tried the salted egg fried squid and this gets a Highly Recommended as well. Steamed meat patty with dong choi; omelette with butter gourd; fried chicken wings are all good too. I must really commend the management for quick and attentive service and keeping the food coming at relatively fast speed. Kudos.

Looks like quite a new block of shoplot. Spacious dining but not air conditioned. Service was fast although almost full house. Good selection of menu. Claypot curry fish head was yummy. Full of mixed vegetables inside too. The steamed '3 type' eggs were nice and soft. Nam yu (fermanted beancurd) fried chicken was so so for me. Would be nice if they have fried chicken wings instead. Prices was not too bad.

Good option for a chinese meal. Open for lunch and dinner. Visited the restaurant a second time. First was on a weekend and had to wait given a large crowd. Went else where instead. This time around was on a Friday. No crowd hence managed to get a table for my entourage and myself. Restaurant is not big and would be cramped and noisy when full. Given the direction of the shop, it gets really warm during the evening.

Food wise, we tried the signature steam fish head. It was good. With a price tag of only RM35, this should be a best seller. Our other orders were also good. The salted egg yolk squids had a lot of flavour with chef not stingy with the egg yolks while the 3 king steamed egg a tad bland. Veggie was also ok with options of a few ways of cooking.

Pricing is affordable. Hence, it should not be a surprise to...
