100 Houz, previously known as Made Kitchen located at MKH Boulevard Kajang, is a refurbished house lot café located at Jalan Reko, opposite to MRT Kajang station.
It was my first time visiting the place, to have breakfast. It was around 10 in the morning. There were limited parking outside the café I would say. There were no designed parking spaces around there, however there's an empty area for parking.
There were already some customers having their breakfast, with around 3-4 tables left empty, out of around 8 in total (at the ground floor).
I looked through the menu, and ordered an avocado egg sandwich, costing RM 6.90 and Hot Cinnamon Teapot for two, costing RM 9. There were three options of bread for sandwiches, I chose sourdough as recommended. It taste good, except that I barely able to taste avocados. Hot cinnamon tea has a strong scent of cinnamon that the aroma could fill the air.
Customers were required to pay after ordering at the counter. All prices stated in the menu are inclusive of other taxes and charges. In terms of payment options, besides cash, e-wallets such as Maybank QRpay, Boost, GrabPay, FavePay are accepted.
Spaghetti, western-styled breakfast, sandwiches, soup, desserts, coffee and tea were available there. In terms of pricing of the menu, it's considerably reasonable.
It was very enjoyable having breakfast under such a quiet and relaxing environment. However it might get noisy when it gets crowded with customers.
Their toilet was very clean and fully functional. WiFi network and charging ports were available as well. Delivery services are available via GrabFood and Foodpanda in Kajang Area. Business will be closed on Monday.
Overall, it was a memorable experience dining there, and will most likely revisit in the future! If you were to find a comfortable, quiet, relaxing place to have breakfast or lunch, or just simply to have coffee or tea while reading newspaper or chit-chatting or dating or to have some work, this is an ideal spot for you.
Kudos...
Read moreI found this place from google so decided to go here for breakfast..
Inside, it will gave u the atmosphere like eating inside a malaysian vintage house, just like when you go inside any japan's izakaya alley, only here is the malaysian izakaya vibe..
The signage of the restaurant was small and eventhough it is just on the side of Jalan Reko, you can easily missed it.. but the food was good...
They brew their own coffee, and the beans of the day during our visit was ethiopian & guatemalan..
They used sourdough bread for their sandwich, it is not bad but could have been better because the outer crust was so hard and chewy for my wife, but the taste was good thou..
The chicken chop was great, juicy and flavourful.. and the others was ok, nothing too special.. and i thought the food price was a little bit over on the high side, not too expensive and not to moderate.. more like starbuck-ish..
Anyway, we have good experience...
Read moreA very cozy cafe. I nearly missed this good cafe because of the photo available in the google review here. So I am posting here to help promoting this cafe.
I ordered the refreshing salad, chicken chop(sandwich) and cafe mocha. The salad is refreshingly nice. The sandwich is good, filled with plenty of vege and nice piece of crispy chicken and mayonnaise. Simple but nice. They have other choices of what you want to put in the sandwich as well. The coffee here is above average. I like the coffee here.
I can't say the food is how wonderful or how special the menu is, but their staff/owner are very nice, very helpful, smiling always (can be seen very kind with smiley face even with mask on). And the environment is nice. Not huge but you can feel a sense of cosiness in it.
Will definitely revisit...
