Food quality (0.6 of 1): Pro: ok coffee with enough condensed milk flavour, but a bit mild. flavourful nasi lemak and fried ramen with strong mushroom flavour. tender ayam masak merah. good coconut milkshake with strong coconut flavour and soft texture (no tiny ice rocks). lots of pork lard in pork lard rice. ok glutinous rice balls. ingredients were fresh. little/no ajinomoto.
Con: peanut tong shui was too watery and salty, could only take 2-3 spoonfuls before giving up. saba fish at room temperature, would be better if freshly grilled. xiu yok skin was not crispy.
Food selection/ portion/ presentation/ serving speed (0.6 of 1): Pro: wide selection of foods. simple presentation but looked ok.
Con: portion of food was below average. foods were served 10-15 minutes after ordering, a bit slow for some of the food, especially when it was not crowded.
Price (0.7 of 1): Pro: overall reasonable price.
Ambience/ decoration/ cleanliness (0.9 of 1): Pro: overall clean, including the toilet. cold enough aircon. mostly bright lighting. decorated with some food pictures and lamps with rattan cover, have modern traditional ambience. well maintained tables and seats. tidy shop without boxes visible or cleaning tools/ materials by hand-wash basin or in the toilet.
Con: certain part of the floor was pasted with red tapes, would be nicer without.
Service (0.7 of 1): Pro: staff served foods carefully. well-maintained tableware and utensils, solid enough utensils. coffee was made less sweet, fried ramen was made less salty and nasi lemak was served without ikan bilis as requested. hand-wash liquid without dilution, but of lower price range.
Con: staff didn't greet customers and cashier didn't say thank you...
Read moreWe came here for the first time to try out and the kids loved it and we revisited the next day.
We had:-
Sizzling Lemak Rice and Curry Siew Yoke @ RM 15.90 Char Siew Wantan Soup @ RM 8.90 Nanyang kopi ice @ RM 6.60 Prawn Wanton Soup @ RM 9.90 Cendol @RM 4.90 Chicken Chop with Garlic Pepper Sauce @ RM 13.90 Signature kopi with Pandan and Gula Melaka @ RM 5.90 small
Food was good and portion wise are substantial but the coffee here was lacking. Coffee here does not have enough the coffee fragrance taste but only super milky. The Cendol was good as uses the fragrant Gula Melaka from Melaka kind. Fragrant and not sweet kind.
The dragon fruit Nasi lemal was good with the curry sauce uses the lemongrass to cook the curry sauce.
Service was okay and the food didn’t take long to arrive. Payment uses cash, touch and go and credit card.
My kids new found favorite kopitiam as they service a lot varieties of food and the food taste quite good with reasonable pricing.
Kids love the wantan mee and chicken chop but the sauce too garlicky as uses fresh cut garlic put into the sauce. Would be nice if have only the brown sauce...

Here's one that was packed when we visited right about a tad after lunch hour. The place looked clean and neat except there was a fly tried sharing our food and drinks.
We had cham kurang manis, soya bean, fried chicken chop with pork sausage and a plate of fried beehoon with cyz (chu yau zar) aka pork fat cracklings.
Others on the menu didn't seemed to get us venture into, like the dragon fruit infused nasi lemak as its signature dish. Well that's to us but maybe other may want to try and review about it. The rest was a glance through though.
Well, the cham was rather good while soya bean was normal lah. The sausage was very tasty while the chicken chop was rather bland to me after the sausage grabbed all the 'the attention'. The fried beehoon was normal but was elevated by the cyz. No huhs and hahs but the opposite table's braised pork rice sure looked nice.
Maybe and just maybe we may pay another...
