Disappointing experience for our first visit. Was recommended to come here for dinner but the food and service is really not up to expectations. I had the Japanese curry pork chop rice while my wife had the signature pork chop. Both pork chop taste dry, on top of that, the curry on my curry rice is almost non-existence. Feedback to the staff before eating and was told that the curry is portion per serving and could not give me more. However, they can do so with a charge.
Ask for the manager but was told that there is only a supervisor available. The supervisor said there is nothing they can do about the lack of curry. When told that I may give a bad review, he responded to please go ahead as that is the avenue I can make my feedback known. He further explain that the floor and kitchen are separate and he has no control over the kitchen. I asked if it's under the same boss and his reply is that this is a franchise business.
I am totally shocked by the experience and honestly if this is the standard of service and food that I am getting, I am never going to visit another Brew house ever again.
Normally I don't rate anyone badly and have been really easy going with the quality of food serve, but this is way too bad an experience for me not to say...
Read moreGood place to indulge in some American fare. As with all Brewhouses, this restaurant serves pork. We ordered their signatures i.e. pork chop and bacon steak. Serving size is pretty small. The pork chop had 2 thin slices of pork (menu stated 250gm) while the pork bacon steak was a piece of fried pork belly. Both tasted ok. The funny thing was the sauce accompanying the pork bacon steak. Per menu was a butterscotch sauce. But on the plate, it tasted more like kaya. All on my table who tasted it had the same opinion. Kindda wierd having fried pork with a kaya tasting sauce 🤔
The other order which we had was the mac & chik burger (which is essentially a fried chicken burger topped with mac&cheese) and mac & cheese. Both were ok but the burger stood out.
We skipped the alcohol but had an order for mango lassi and choc shake. The lassi was ok. However, it had crushed ice which made the yogurt curd after a while. For the price that is charged, the restaurant should have just served it chilled with no ice like all lassi serving restaurants do. The shake was so so.
In my opinion, beverages are quite pricey and food portion is quite small for the price that they charge. Nevertheless, service is good with fast serving of...
Read moreWow, stylish! What a gorgeous place! The Brew House at MKH Boulevard Kajang truly stands out with its stunning interior and well-thought-out décor. I was especially impressed by the private round seating area, which comfortably fits up to 5 people. It felt exclusive and cozy—definitely something unique compared to other outlets.
We were warmly greeted by two friendly staff members who took great care of our orders and made sure everything was in place. Service was prompt, and the food didn’t take long to arrive.
I did notice one small change—the Butterscotch sauce for the bacon steak wasn’t as sweet or flavorful as I remembered. However, the fried luncheon meat was a big hit! It was even better than Uncle Don’s version—crispy, delicious, and without any overpowering added spices.
Overall, I had a wonderful lunch with my family. The atmosphere, service, and food made it a memorable experience. Thank you for the excellent hospitality! I’ll...
