Halim Gp Gulai Panas Airport — Restaurant in Kedah

I have tried the food at this restaurant somewhere in 2019 and the food is really delicious, huge thumbs 👍🏼 up. But recently I went to eat again in 2023 and the food they serve is still gulai ikan and we can choose what we want to eat but the gulai ikan was very different. Even the fried food we choose and they fry was all kinda different and I was a little bit down by this cuz I was expecting the food to be as good as the last time I had and it was not. Probably now the person cooking are the owners staff because the last time I went to eat the owner himself was doing the cooking and frying but this time around the staffs were handling the cooking so I think probably it's different taste cuz different chef cooking maybe. Whatever it is I hope the owner realize about this faster and do something about it. I hope to go again and try and wish the owner would take over cooking again and...

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place.. one of the must-go spots in Langkawi, especially for the gulai ikan. Tried it and overall memang meet my expectations, cuma the gulai a bit cair for my taste. My favorite was the sotong goreng tepung, super crispy and sedap. Plus, the price is very reasonable.. 2 pax for only RM65, memang worth it!

From the picture, you can see that we really enjoyed our food.. Tapi downside dia, too many flies. As someone with a sensitive stomach, this is memang something I worry about. We had to keep protecting our food while eating. Hopefully the restaurant can take some control measures on this, sebab sayang if the good food and value are affected by...

We came here because recommended by Vivo Forever just for sotong goreng tepung. This place was almost full but me managed to get a table. It is located just by the round about with enough parking in front of the restaurant. It is just a simple set up typical Malay restaurant with variety of meal. Kari ada, asam pedas ada, ulam2 pun ada. They even sell soft shell crab. It is basically seafood restaurant with many choices of fish, price moderately.

As what claimed by Vivo Forever, the sotong really superb. So not much to say, you are welcome here if you are hantu sotong goreng tepung. Not best in the world but almost best in town. Will come here again just for this...
