Mee Abu — Restaurant in Kedah

I've always loved Mee Rebus and Mee Goreng Mamak, and I've traveled far and wide to savor at any known location, either heard from friends or via media. Most experiences were acceptable, some were reasonably good whilst some were downright disappointing.

This, Mee Abu......I used to eat here many, many eons ago, has eluded my taste buds for all these while and returning here to savor once again, just proves that, THIS IS, THE OLD SCHOOL MEE REBUS AND MEE GORENG, AND STILL THE BEST, DE FACTO, MEE REBUS & MEE GORENG MAMAK. All else, are, well....just mee rebus & mee goreng mamak.

This is the place to be for such. Always ask for that extra spicy mee goreng. No regrets, and shed no tears. You'll never eat other mee mamak again, believe you me.

Came here looking to eat nasi for lunch. We wanted to try the nasi kandar here but was told it opens much later in the afternoon. Pasembur also wasn't available at that time. Only left with the options of mee/beehoon goreng and mee rebus during our visit. We ordered beehoon goreng special and mee goreng. Taste was just okay, a bit sweet to my liking as I'm not a big fan of mee goreng mamak to be fair. Price here is reasonable. Should try this place out if you're into mee goreng mamak...

Got a takeaway nasi lemak for dinner today, the food was okay and the staff were really friendly too! But a few hours later i started feeling nauseous and ended up throwing up around midnight..🥲

Update* Both my mom and I felt nauseous after eating the food there, she had mee rebus and pasembur. Might need to check the freshness of the ingredients…quite...
