Batu Belah Boon Hua Restaurant (汶华肉骨茶) Bak Kut Teh — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

Went there with our 3 kids. Waited for 30 mins then suddenly they came to tell us the meat we chose for our BKT ran out of stock and asked us to pick a different meat. So we didn't make a fuss but decided to go with a different cut. Then we asked for a plate of rice first so that our kids could at least fill their stomach with something. Waited another 30 mins and our food never came. So we decided to cancel our order and eat some place else as it was obvious we weren't considered customer at this shop. The owner came, didn't even apologize and charged us for the 1 miserable plate of rice we ordered for the kids. I have never given 1 star for any reviews before but this one definitely deserves that.

1. Great tasty BKT - both the thick broth, regular claypot versions are especially great
2. The dried version is also really good, with really thick dried squid taste in the gravy
3. Great service from the crew, very attentive
4. Good queue system, with numbering to avoid any patrons from jumping the line
5. Reasonable prices

👎🏻 6) Overall seating arrangement, really messy 7) Hygiene is a major concern, as the patrons discarded the used tissue everywhere on the floor. Imagine some day if major outbreak such as COVID19 returns 8)...

Do judge a restaurant by its morning crowd - full house most of the time! Tips: regardless how many of you for a table, you should always: Grab a queue number - unless if you see plenty empty tables with no queue going on Order individual bowl instead of one big claypot - they differ a lot in terms of portion, waiting time, and overall satisfaction! If that's not enough, try another pot of dried bah-kut-teh (for yourself...
