I would rate it higher if the cleanliness is improved, my meal does not cover the major north indian cuisine items but here's some suggestions for improvement.
Cleanliness of the environment Back of the white leather chair has stains I was seated beside the sound proofing wall, the side across the cashier, the wall is visibly dirty and unhygenic. It was very offputting. The promotion arcylic stand has black stains inside and on the printed paper The artificial flower on table too has black stains, probably mold There was a strong smell outside of the restaurant, perhaps it's from other shops (closed for the day) but it does not give a good impression of Garam Masala.
Pani Puri was good with a twist of sweetness, but again the arcylic container that is holding the pani puri is abit dirty
Too soggy for Garlic Cheese Naan. It came in thin as well, does not feel like the usual fluffy naan bread I had in multiple places before. Hard to hold on to the chicken and veges due to it's oiliness and thickness.
Aloo Gobi has more aloo than gobi. I can only see 2 pieces of cut cauliflower. However the portion is generous and potatoes has big cuts.
Palak paneer does not taste like those I had before, the cheese had a sharper and pungeont taste, maybe it's the cheese type or perhaps it's the quality/storing time of the cheese, im not sure if it's going bad soon.
Aside from these above, services are excellent. Waiters are attentive, they also asked my comments for food. Seeing there's a big family nearby and having a splendid moment, I did not tell the waiter my reviews because I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's mood over there. I would love to come back but do swap out the artificial flowers with other decor and be sure to check the aryclic...
Read moreHeard about this restaurant from Google and decided to give it a go. Went for lunch and ordered tawa vegetables, chapati, rice and buttermilk drink along with it they gave a small bowl of dal. Food came shortly and was hot, roti was freshly made, and the rice was warm, all served in nice serving dishes. The two stars is because of the taste and the after effect of the food, the tawa vegetable was seriously wrong, it was made with lots of sauce or ketchup and didn't taste anything near to any Indian dish, it was more of a vegetarian Manchurian. Shortly after eating the food my stomach became bloated and gassy along with indigestion, it's very discomforting and disappointing at the same time. I hope more care can be taken to ensure quality ingredients are used to cook food, it serves no purpose if the service is nice, the food is warm etc but it causes discomfort after...
Read moreThey have become one of the most common and profound places for people to visit. There are many reasons why people decide to visit such a place. They are restaurants. Perhaps the most common reason to why people visit restaurants are either because they are too lazy to cook for themselves or because they want to indulge in the expertise of a proper chef. Regardless of their reasons, they want to eat somewhere they would enjoy the food as well as the customer service. I decided to evaluate an Indian restaurant after an exhausting day outside. I am no stranger to Indian cuisine because I grew up eating those foods. Since I was familiar with the cuisine, my brother and I decided to visit and critique the Indian restaurant Garam Masala in Bukit tinggi. Overall the food there was very great...
