The main things when you having bak kut teh is the soup and the rice. Letโ€™s talk about the rice first oh my goodness is very little and not nice. The soup, meat and intestines also not nice.

One of the Chinese old man staff attitude super not friendly at all. My parents ask for chili and garlic also cannot. Ask for add soup also cannot. Ask for add rice also cannot. He straight give an impatience face in front of my father after serving us and told my father to ask for everything at once and complained many customers la please la. We just like WHAT and forget about it. Maybe he have a bad day or what. Hey, if you prepare the chili, garlic and cutleries on table,do I need to ask you? This is the basic you need to be prepare when customers ready to be serve.

One more thing, I think every customer but not all la will call for add rice and soup rite? So, add rice and soup I have to ask right? Cannot ask? I not deserve to ask? Or you can read customers mind that no need or need to add for something else? Or you donโ€™t want earn money? Or your business already superb good then I no need to ask for add rice and soup? Hey, if your staff donโ€™t want to serve and impatient then call other staffs to serve la. Easy what. Your restaurant got many staffs. Other staffs attitude better than him. At least, they will said sorry for food coming late. If you donโ€™t believe, boss please preview back the cctv how rude is your staff. Is ridiculous.

I know your restaurant is busy and I understandable. I know customers are not always right. Maybe I am not famous celebrity such as Chow Yun Fat and Andy Lau. If not, I think sure your staffs serve me very well then. Hello? I came from far away is to taste bak kut teh and I heard bak kut teh is very famous in Klang area. So,I randomly choose your restaurant for my first selection. You are lucky boss. Money put inside your pocket. Boss, I know got many customers in your restaurant and I have to wait. Is ok la. Is understandable. I thought nice food have to wait. But for me, I am wrong and I want to claim back that seriously my hometown bak kut teh more nicer than yours. This is my first and the last eating at your restaurant boss. Everything is unacceptable. Sorry and pai seh boss.

Lastly, your everything in the restaurant top to bottom such as foods, cleanliness, and staffs attitude...

Had an bad experience. Was there with my brother, two sisters and little nephew. Ordered claypot bkt for 4 adults. Bkt was fine, in klang most bkt can't taste bad really just depends on taste whether your preference or not, hardly bad taste or taste awful. Service was so so only, kind of ignorance to customer's request. Anyway, worst comes when asked for bill that time, how come so expansive so ask for detail. Turn out, they charged 5 person portion instead. I asked how come not informing us when charging extra? The lady boss was like again, ignoring me and look else where instead of answer to my doubt, didn't even try to explain. So I told her, you are being unethical and dishonest in doing business. That extra RM20, is what you worth!!. My advise to anyone though to give it a try, be aware of this type of dishonest tricky business in klang. If you want to order portion more than 2 person, will suggest to split the portion say 2 order of 2 portion etc, don't let this type of dishonest unethical business able to take advantage on us as customer. As conclusion, don't waste your money here. Klang has lots of bkt offer everywhere. Go around the area you can find more than 5 bkt restaurants. Consider my advice, don't waste your money in this...

Have been to this place since 10-15 years ago. Its a shame that it has fallen off this bad. Visited this branch again today with family of 6 people. One uncle (boss cousin), taking order from us but has so many restrictions. First time in my life eating bah kut teh I cannot call individual claypot of 1 person portion. Previously when I was here, it has never been a problem but with this uncle, cannot. If they cannot accommodate that, fine, we change to normal individual bowls and somehow he said the maximum meat they can give is 2 suikut, 2 tuakut because there was many customers. Like hello we are 6 people here and there was barely anyone in the store at time, 1030am. Why is so difficult to accommodate customer preferences? Then the uncle suddenly said he thought we didnโ€™t want claypot with vege and taopok. At that point we were ready to get out the place. At the end, food tasted plain no taste and so diluted. NEVER EVER COMING BACK. Props to the foreign workers tho they are actually ok itโ€™s just this uncle always cause problem. Many complains before...

In our first outing to Port Klang, we first dropped by Swee Bee by Baker Dave to get some what turned out to be one of the nicest CNY pineapple tarts and selection of cookies that we've ever had. (We couldn't wait for CNY!) ๐Ÿ˜‚ We asked Baker Dave where's the best BKT in Port Klang, and Baker Dave screamed "Kee Heong" without thought! ๐Ÿ˜‚ "You must try the dry version." And, so we did, together with a BKT soup in claypot, pork intestines BKT which my better half couldn't stand the sight of ๐Ÿ˜‚, a luscious big bone BKT, blanched Romaine Lettuce and the quintessential fried dough to soak up the juices. Although the BKT soup broth was good, the dry BKT was DA BOMB! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Intense marriage of fishiness, saltiness (probably copious amounts of MSG), slight sweetness from the dark soy, depth from the pork fat and "wok hei"! Can't wait to visit Port Klang again to sample other popular BKTs! ๐Ÿ˜‰

It was my first time eating at this place as my partner and I were craving for Klangโ€™s Bah Ku Teh. We found this restaurant over Google map and decided to give this a try. We had a Tua Gut Bak Kut Teh (soup) - the meat was very tender and the soup was very thick and flavourful. My favourite style! We also ordered a dry version of Bah Kut Teh with pork belly - the meat was again very egg well cooked and tender. The sauce was a little sweet giving it a great aftertaste thatโ€™s irresistible and addictive. We also had the fried fritters and Yaw Mug (Chinese romaine lettuces) to go along with the meal. The Yaw Mug never disappoint! Love it lots! It is also very affordable, especially for those who want to bring your family out for a meal. Damage for two of us was around RM60. Very worth the price and Iโ€™d highly recommend this place for tourists and locals alike.

BKT restaurants are a dime a dozen in Klang so it is not easy to stand out. However, Kee Heong has been around for a long time and they are one of the standouts and they even have branches outside of Klang. Kee Heong serves both the soup and dry varieties of BKT. While quality is maintained, prices have increased tremendously. Now, a portion for a single pax costs RM19. While the soup version is pretty good, I don't think it stands out when compared to other popular BKT outlets. However, the dry version is superior to most. It is loaded with dry cuttlefish, dried shrimps and dried chilli. The sauce is fragrant and the right balance of salty, sweet and spicy. A truly must-try dish. Parking is very difficult during lunch hours and the restaurant is understaffed like many others so service can get a bit slow. Be prepared to wait awhile.
