My favourite go-to spot for a simple and hearty bak kut teh! It might not be the typical BKT you get from other stalls in Klang, so if you’re expecting a thick, collagen-rich broth - this might not be the one for you.
What I love about this place is the just-right soup consistency with a pleasant hint of herbal flavour. As a soup lover, I personally prefer something light enough to sip comfortably, and this place nails it. The broth still has some texture but isn’t too thick to drink - slightly thinner than usual Klang bkt, which I actually prefer. It’s one of the rare shops in Klang that serves this kind of soup consistency and free soup refills!

The staff is very kind, refilling herb soup without charging us.Dry and wet Bah Kut Teh tasted good but the Chicken wine was below par. They'll provide a small bowl of soup together. For people staying in Kuala Lumpur, it will be troublesome for one to travel to Klang and have Bah Kut Teh as brunch or lunch. Personally, I kind of enjoy the journey, the fellowship and also the company of my loved ones.
You need to use the Waze or Google Map to get to this Restoran Yap Beng with ease. Parking is a bit difficult for this Restoran. You have to park a little farther away.
Needless to say, this Restoran serves one of the best Bah Kut Teh in Klang. Its flavour is tasty and very delicious and the meats with certain fats are cooked to perfection. Both the soup one and the dry one are equally delicious and mouth-watering... yummy!!!
