We came here after our Sunday evening Mass to have our Dinner . One of the main reason was to order crabs. My Daughter ordered Salted Butter Crabs . Two Big crabs mixed with small crabs had stench and were not fresh . So we called the staff to replace it . Though concerned , he said he could only replace the Big crabs but not the small ones since he said they did not smell and were fresh. Logically , the whole dish had to be replaced as the food was contaminated . He admitted the cooks told him those Big crabs were not fresh and had an odour of contamination . Then why did the cooks check thoroughly first before cooking for us ! You must be careful . We ordered two Big crabs , they mixed it with small crabs . Each of them were charged separately . For the crabs alone we spent 280 ringgit . The whole Bill amounted to 460 ringgit . That was acceptable if the crabs had been fresh from the stove, not sent back to the kitchen to be recooked again and re-served after a long wait . The crab dish tasted just normal and did not deserve any special mention . Forget it if you are looking for above average tastily Cooked crab dishes here ! We also ordered Fried Rice with ikan bilis , Fried Kangkong , Baby Kailan and ketchup Chicken. Beside the external attractive Lights with renovation to draw our attention to the Restaurant from the row of other seafood restaurants at the Kebun Kelapa at Pandamaran Jaya , the food was average taste and quality overall . Nothing could I mention tasted good out of all the dishes we had ordered . The staff though friendly and busy did not know how to handle us while we were waiting inside the Aircon room without any Head waiter or Manager telling us about our seating arrangement as the two tables that were empty were reserved and with us having difficulty to manage a down syndrone Son and an active 18 month old Baby . No One really attended to us at first but only after about 10 minutes . The chairs were comfortable . The ambience inside was pleasant for diners. While dining , we found the waiters responsive to our immediate needs . Would we come again . I doubt it very much . The taste of the food should be constant , delicious and above average to attract repeat customers . I hope the owner will look into it to improve the situation for his...

Yummy crabs - highlily recommended! Around 1kg size for MYR180/kg. Very meaty, firm and fresh crabs! 爽口,新鲜!had 3 big crabs (800-1000g each) with 3 flavours - Sour and spicy flavour is like chilli crabs (strong on ketchup), creamy kam heong had curry taste, steamed was simple but best! Came on a Thur afternoon around 3pm, but if you decide to order quite a few crabs, do order in advance as they may not have stocks on off peak days/hours. Do call and ask!
The steamed patin fish was very nice too. Firm yet tender meat!
Fried chicken was kampong chicken which had less fats!
Mango pickles were nice too though i would have preferred for it to be less sweet and more sour!
Reasonably priced too!
Love the opening hours (opened throughout the afternoon) which is convenient for tourists especially those like us arriving from cruise with limited onshore timing, especially when it is difficult to grab from...
Read moreWe went here for lunch and the lady took our order pretty well. Lots of discussion and ideas for food items.
We also had the opportunity to have “Lou Sang”. They only have the packet fried type items and not fresh vegetables. You could add on Jelly Fish or raw Fish. We went with Jelly Fish.
Food: 4/5 Food was tasty overall. But they didn’t come out together and we had to wait a bit for some dishes. We opted to try the salted baked crab which was ok but I think their sweet and sour would have been better choice. The other dishes were cooked well.
Service: 4/5 Staff was quite attentive to our requests and changed out our plates a few times to discard the carcasses and shells. We had to arrange our own “Lou Sang” plates and chopsticks. Staff really were not prepared or trained to arrange the table like how we did.
Atmosphere: 4/5 It was relatively quiet when we went but I could see this place becoming busy when it is peak meal times. There was AC in the restaurant and open air seating too.
Parking was easy for us but I see potential issues when this...
