SH Thai BBQ Two Restaurant — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

I heard so much rave about this place but was very disappointed after going there to try it for myself. First off, their service was really bad. I waited for over 40 minutes before the pot of soup was served. I can understand why people in general said the food there tasted yummy. It's simply because EVERYTHING IS SEASONED WITH MSG (too much MSG)!!! I know food sold outside are generally seasoned with MSG but this shop took it to the extreme level. Their soup tasted really salty. As the soup continues boiling you can clearly see all that's left at the bottom of the pot were salt and MSG. Another thing to note was their cockles. I actually observed how they cooked it and was kind of disgusted because they did not pre-wash/soak the cockles before grilling them over the BBQ pit. My hands got dirty as I tried cracking them open, quite a messy process altogether. It was also really hard to open them up since not all were fully cooked. With that kind of price paid, I'd rather go elsewhere for a better tasting steamboat with efficient service. Not going back there ever again. Food: 5/5 I love their soup and their bacon, it's the best in town!

Hygiene: 3/5 Can always see stray dogs and cats walking in and out of the restaurant. I even noticed some people allowing dogs to climb to the edge of their table. The restaurant is located next to a road so might as well consider about the ashes brought by the vehicles.

Service: 3/5 Since it's a busy restaurant, it's somehow reasonable for the waiters to be ignorant because they're busy. They'll try to help you if they can but they're always busy.

Outlook: 2/5 Very packed, very hazy, people around here cough always because of the smoke. It is suggested that the restaurant can add more fans to allow the flow of smoke.

Serving speed: 4/5 It can be dependent on the time of your visit as well. If they run out of the cooking pan, you'll have to wait!

What's a lovely restaurant fulfill all my favorite dishes in one place: charcoal style hybrid barbeque steamboat with spicy tomyam soup, grilled thai pork, grilled cockles and mango glutinous rice. Remember to make an order inside the restaurant of different stalls and look for al fresco table to avoid hazy inside restaurant
