A.Muthu House Of Briyani — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

I used to enjoy dining at your restaurant because of the excellent biryanis you served, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Recently, I have been very disappointed with both the food and the service.

It seems that the restaurant is now fully staffed by foreigners, which is a significant change from the past when the cooks and waiters were primarily Indian. Unfortunately, these new staff members do not seem to understand what customers want. It takes about half an hour to pack just one biryani, even when the restaurant is not crowded.

Additionally, the chicken rendang I ordered was not tender; the meat was hard and unappetizing. I am perplexed by how this dish could be prepared in such a manner, especially when it comes to feeding children. I ended up giving my kids just the egg and rice, despite paying RM18 for the chicken biryani.

Overall, I have noticed a significant drop in quality. I also no longer see the owner or his family at the counter, or else I would have provided my feedback directly.

Regrettably, I will not be returning to A. Muthu anymore, which was once my favorite...

Had briyani cravings & a friend recommended this place. A good find. Nice Indian decor. Bright & clean. Friendly service. Plenty of street side parking. Reasonable pricing.

We ordered their specialty chicken rendang & mutton variety. They came with a side of raita & dhal. Rice was good on its own. Chicken rendang was surprising. Packed with flavor but it does overpower the briyani itself. Mutton was the highlight. Tender, flavorful & went well with the rice. Raita was fresh & a bit sweet. Helps with balancing the spiciness. Dhal was also good but wasn't needed. For drinks we had their iced mooru & cham. Both were well made especially the cham.

We enjoyed our meal. Will surely return to try out other varieties. Definitely...

Went with my friend for lunch. I ordered mutton biryani and my friend ordered prawn biryani. The portion was soo little we hardly felt that we have eaten. Had to order one more plain biryani and we shared. Is this business tactic? Give smaller portion so that customer will order some more. Prices are not cheap though. Another friend of mine ordered from Panda once and complained the same thing that the portion has been reduced. If this is the way you do business by being greedy you will surely lose your customers.
