Went for late lunch today around 2pm, quite crowded so we waited a little while for our food (around 15mins)

Had tried several dishes before, my favour was actually their Tom Yum fried noodles but it was unavailable since pandemic till now. Their kuey teow (chicken egg) is pretty good, just slightly oily for me.

Assam laksa is very nice. Its one of the brothers from Ayer Itam (Penang) who’s making it. The soup was filled with tasty fish meat (not sardine which is great) and seasoned with onion, cucumber, chili, red onion and he kor. I had made special request of removing he kor because my family prefers it to be spicy and sour rather than sweet. Was served according to our request, the food was served pretty quick after the drinks.

Ordered sea coconut with longan, in my opinion best to match with any food since cendol/ABC wouldve melted when the foods are served at same time haha. Their cendol and ABC okok, wouldve preferred cendol with more fillings...

Asam laksa lover staying within Klang Valley don't need to travel far north now in order to enjoy tasty asam laksa. Now you can visit Restaurant Angcle Peoh in Klang. The restaurant is located at the shop lot just opposite Aeon Bukit Tinggi Klang. For those who don't know what is asam laksa, it is a sour, spicy, fish based soup noodles with plenty of onions, cucumber, mint leaves and green lettuce leaves. The restaurant which is air-conditioned, provides a good environment to savour spicy asam laksa. They also have the special passion fruit drink. I would like to try it next time. I like their asam laksa as the broth is thick with much sardine and pungent taste. The asam laksa is quite spicy and you have the option to let them know to omit certain ingredient if you are allergic to it. Fried kuey teow were...

Char kway teow enough wok hei, ingredients and portion not bad.

Fried hokkien noodles tasty, I like it. Mum said tasted like small town cooking 😅 I think she just meant homey.

Pork noodles was rather sweet and noodles was a tad too watery for a dry noodles. Not much ingredients. Probably can skip this imo.

Customers are mainly regulars as they’ve been here for many years. Famous is their assam laksa which I had many years ago and can’t remember how it tasted.

Shop is clean and prompt service. Didn’t quite like that the middle aged lady serving our food was wearing a sleeveless top. For hygiene purposes I don’t think F&B operators should wear...

I am a Penang guy spending lots of time in the Klang Valley and whenever I think of a bowl of Penang Assam Laksa, this is where I will go to. For me this is the best Penang Assam Laksa period. Their price is slightly higher than the hawker stalls but I believe you get a good bowl of laksa with very thick broth. The taste is as original as it can be and frankly I would say Angcle Peoh is a lot better than the Penang Air Itam laksa. However, the other items - Char Koay Teow and rice dishes are just average - Prawn Mee is not too bad but not the best though. Dessert wise, cendol is not nice - ice kacang is very normal. Uncle Peoh is very friendly and warm - love going to this place
