Went for late lunch today around 2pm, quite crowded so we waited a little while for our food (around 15mins)
Had tried several dishes before, my favour was actually their Tom Yum fried noodles but it was unavailable since pandemic till now. Their kuey teow (chicken egg) is pretty good, just slightly oily for me.
Assam laksa is very nice. Its one of the brothers from Ayer Itam (Penang) whoâs making it. The soup was filled with tasty fish meat (not sardine which is great) and seasoned with onion, cucumber, chili, red onion and he kor. I had made special request of removing he kor because my family prefers it to be spicy and sour rather than sweet. Was served according to our request, the food was served pretty quick after the drinks.

Char kway teow enough wok hei, ingredients and portion not bad.
Fried hokkien noodles tasty, I like it. Mum said tasted like small town cooking đ I think she just meant homey.
Pork noodles was rather sweet and noodles was a tad too watery for a dry noodles. Not much ingredients. Probably can skip this imo.
Customers are mainly regulars as theyâve been here for many years. Famous is their assam laksa which I had many years ago and canât remember how it tasted.
