Actually i came previousl and reached at 835pm, but the worker said there are closing at 845pm(google stated shop close at 9pm). Came here today as i saw so many good review, so decided to come to give it a try. Ordered the 花雕lala meehoon, the whole bowl of soup is full of charred ginger(as u can see in the picture). I asked the aunty at counter whether is it normal or they have overcooked the zinger to burnt, she explained it's normal. My experience of lala mee hoon in other shop did not serve these kind of cancerogenic charred ginger along with their nutritious soup. Hope the kitchen will not serve the burnt food to the customer next time. Lala size medium-small, but juicy. Soup...
Read moreThis social media buzzed restaurant in Kepong is situated in a row of shoplots specializes in seafood and flower clams (lala) noodles. Premises is small but clean and service was surprisingly good and fast despite it being crowded most of the time. Food is good but certainly not the best lala noodles I have eaten. Prices are definitely on the high side for the potion they serve. For me its a bit too salty to the point it overpowered the natural sweetness of the seafood that comes with the noodles. And the cup packaged home made drinks are too sweet. Parking can be a nightmare especially during peak hours. Recommended to give this a try if you are around...

The prawn and lala are fresh and succulent 👍. The only slight downside was the broth. While they are really generous with the hua diao wine, the broth is too peppery for my liking as I could not taste the natural umami from the seafood.
Also ordered the fried bean curd and fish cake as sides which are average only.
I went during peak lunch hour on a weekday and there were still plenty of tables available. This is probably due to the higher price point in this part of...
