鸡煲之家 Chicken Claypot House Kepong — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Dear Chicken Claypot House,

I first came across your restaurant in Cameron, just last month. I had a very pleasant dining experience - good food, good soup based & good service. Then, I visited the outlet situated in Arkadia, last week. The experience I had was consistent - good food, good soup based & good service.

However, I’ve again visited the outlet situated in METRO PRIMA KEPONG on 12/6/2024 evening. The soup based & service this round was super terrible and bad! I was super disappointed and mind-blown!

One of your lady staff who was sitting at the counter, informed that I have to order at least one 奇味鸡煲for my meal, else I wouldn’t be able to order the rest - like what I have usually ordered in the first 2 dine-in experience, the tomato soup based & steamboat dishes. I’ve then asked, this is not my first time dining in at 鸡煲之家, I’ve tried the Cameron & Arkadia outlet and they’ve never imposed such rules. She then responded, this is the new rules imposed by the boss. I was feeling frustrated and angry. I looked at the menu and questioned the staff, no such term mentioned every tables must order 奇味鸡煲, only the staff said it’s ok we can go ahead to order without 奇味鸡煲.

I am not sure if this is really being imposed by the owner across all 鸡煲之家outlet OR is this just being imposed to the METRO PRIMA OUTLET?

Also, the tomato soup based was super super bland after additional soup is added into the pot! I just can’t believe this comes from 鸡煲之家！Such inconsistent level of service & taste of food! The staffs weren’t being proactive enough, did not even bother to add on the additional soup for us.

Your METRO PRIMA OUTLET had really refreshed the good impression I had towards 鸡煲之家！I hope whoever who read this post, please take action against this matter or else I think your business would be at stake if this continues to...

If i can give zero, i will give so. Congratulations for making us unhappy after dinner at your place. Your claypot spicy chicken has chicken bones more than meat in it. You finish stock already? And there are french fries sprinkled on top of it? The dinner for 2 cost RM 71, i can guarantee any place can offer 3 times better food at that price both in quantity and quality. Its so unfair for making us...

Regular Customer, one of the performing franchise, the chicken pork intestine soup base never disappointed. The food they serve so far as I support 100% fresh.

Friendly staff. Environment not fancy but 100% clean and neat. Rate abit above average but still acceptable
