This cafe located behind the main road of the old Kepong town ... It has been a change of owner recently under Chizu Management with a brand new concept ... Better presentation , higher quality n standard but with a reasonable pricing ... I like their concept of the mixture of cafe , kopitiam, tongsui(dessert) n Japanese rice ... which give us a variety of choices to choose from ... the Curry Mee 101 is very nice n tasty with sufficient coconut milk n the broth is a thick n creamy style ... It's to my liking ... I've asked them to exclude cockle thus my photo didn't show it ... It has 3 fresh prawns ... Not too big nor too small ... The Pan seared Salmon is nice n tasty ... The salmon skin is crispy n the fish texture is good n not too dry ... The mashed potatoes beneath is taste good too ... The Nasi Lemak is nice ... with coconut milk rice , sambal is sweet type n quite spicy ... The Fried Chicken berempah is tasty with crunchy skin n the meat is tender ... The Salmon Teriyaki Don is nice n not too sweet ... sufficient teriyaki sauce ... The Soft Shell Crab Croissant Toast is nice too ... The Char Koay Teow is tasty but slightly lack of 'wok hei' ... however the fresh prawns given are quite generous ... The latte is good with a nutty flavour bean ... but it's better order first but come later after meals because it's getting cold quite fast ... The Tiramisu Coffee is nice with creamy mascarpone n cocoa powder dusted on top ... If the coffee taste is stronger would be better ... The Tiramisu is nice ... lady fingers soaked with coffee n a creamy mascarpone n dusted cocoa powder on top ... The Bubur Cha Cha is very nice with fragrant sweet coconut soup, a lot of delicious sweet potatoes and tapioca pearls (sago pearls) n yam ... It's quite thick n not the watery type ... The Chan Pei Hong Dao (Red Bean) is nice too with lots of red bean n the taste of Chan Pei (Dried Mandarin Orange Peel) ... Those people who like Chan Pei will love it ... The most important thing is both of the dessert are not sweet ... environment is small but cosy n it's not many tables available ... The pricing is at mid n...
Read moreWent on a tea time.
The service crew were friendly, environment is cozy, clean and comfortable.
Ordered 2 teatime sets @RM20/set, and a smoked duck aglio-olio spaghetti @RM20.90.
The tea set comprises of a piece of cake and a cup of selected drinks. They have only 3 types of cakes and was told that the cakes were freshly made daily.
For the tea set, we ordered an iced americano and a cup of flower tea (many types of flower tea in the menu but mostly not available) ended we have no choice to order a hot rose tea which was not our preference. For the cake, we ordered a piece of original burnt cheesecake (ala carte @RM14.90/pc) and a lemon cheesecake (ala carte @RM15.90/pc)
Smoked duck aglio-olio spaghetti was served hot, smells good but average on taste, anyway the smoked duck pieces were tasty.
Iced americano was good, but rose tea has no rose aroma at all (they are using tea bag).
The cakes were really bad, it doesn't worth the value at all. It seems that they are using very low quality ingredients for the cakes. The worst was the lemon cheesecake, no lemon taste at all, the mousse texture was so rough with a lot of flour being added in it, the flour can be obviously tasted. Not only that, the crust was a disaster, it has strong smell of expired butter (臭 yik).
I have conveyed my complaint to the waiter, no replacement of cake was given, only a message that he will revert my message to his boss.
Total amount spent with...

Just when I was about to give up, I stumbled upon a surprising little gem that blends cafe vibes, kopitiam classics, and even tong sui under one roof! 😍 Tried a few items and was really impressed: 🍛 Chicken Katsu Curry Don Huge portion, super crispy chicken that's still juicy inside. The curry was flavourful, and for the price — very reasonable! 🥗 Heritage Fruity Salad Fresh, vibrant salad paired with their homemade dressing. The sauce complements the fruits and veggies perfectly. Refreshing and unique! 🍵 Tong Sui Bubur Cha Cha for Dessert Had to end the meal on a sweet note — and wow, it’s not easy to find tong sui in a place with this kind of modern fusion concept. Loved it!
Definitely planning to come back again and will recommend it to my friends. Hope the owner keeps up the...
