Exercising my rights here as a first timer Came here because of my DJ friend spinning Firstly the way to to this speakeasy bar is rather not safety friendly with the flight of stairs having a huge space in between each step , ladies with heels pls be wary. Someone in the bar told me they almost slipped and fell too. Easily can cause a brain hemorrhage. Nvm walked into the bar, the vibe was good. I would say the sound system was fantastic. Coming to the part of first Impression of a bar. Me and my friend was utterly disappointed with the service. Our DJ friend had a table booked with seats and she told us we could be sitted there. The worker came and took our orders insisting from the very beggining for us to order two bottles alcohol for just 2 people. Now isn’t that ridiculous? We told them it’s only two of us and there are more ppl coming to join us . We can always order later. So we proceed to order a bottle of red wine. Worker came back and told us twice that both the wine bottles that we wanted wasn’t available. Way to go. Insisted us again to order two bottles. Finally we settled on a more expensive bottle of wine. Thirdly you only have two unisex bathrooms available but you anticipating a huge crowd to your bar hoping all of them would spent expensively only for you to provide two bathroom spaces. The queue to the bathroom wasn’t a nice wait.Would come back here only to see if the service improved and more so if my famous Dj friend is spinning....
Read moreBad. Just very bad treatment. It was nice in beginning for Ladies Night. They offered free drinks for the ladies. We asked if we could sit at the VIP corner since it was not busy and available. No food served after 12am. While enjoying the drinks, we were asked to move suddenly because we did not buy any drinks yet, which later I decided to buy a bottle of wine. They first said we are only allowed to sit here if we bought 2 bottles of wine. Which I said OK. Later, came another person, pushing us to buy a bottle of liquor, minimum RM1,600. I said no - They were becoming pushy, provocative because they wanted to chase us out from our sit, and give to someone else who isn't sure yet to buy even a serving of drink. Staffs probably chasing commission sales perhaps, and a cheap bottle of wine that probably costs RM40, selling for RM148 was not worth it. Please learn about customer services, business ethics. Understand your customer's preferences. Don't like people coming for free drinks and occupy the space, then DON'T OFFER FREE DRINKS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Don't like cheap spenders, then don't even put cheap labels on the menu. Felt so petty to be treated like this. Unprofessional.
WE 2 ladies don't need a bottle of liquor, not that we could not afford to. WE LADIES PREFER WINE AND READY TO PAY FOR THE PRICE ON THE MENU. Humiliated. Bad experience. I don't recommend new people or girls...
Read moreJust came back from Brookly Bar. First and last time. The ambience is super nice, and that is why I didnt give 1 star. However, service is utterly bad. They are too pushy. We got a table and the waiter just stood in front of us looking at your glasses all the time, and pooring the bottles non stop to finish it faster. Once finished, they kept on asking whether we wanted another bottle, we said we still had our glasses full, and asked them to wait, they said if we didnt buy another one, we should leave the table and move to the bar. Very disrespectful. Furthermore, right from the begging the started pumping the music and putting the volume extreemly loud when it was still empty and there were only 2 tables occupied before 11pm. We asked whether they could low down a bit since we couldnt hear the person next to us and there were no one else there, the waiter just laughed at me and said cannot with an ironic smile. They really should improve their service and manners. They have lots to improve, just so unfortunate that a nice place can be ruined by the service.....
