Came on a Tuesday. Ordered the Two for One filet mignon steak. Some parts of mine were overcooked to the point it was cardboard. Mine and my husband’s smelled like it was old, rank meat and my husband’s tasted BAD. Told the server and he took it back to the kitchen to check. They warmed it and sent it back to us. By then neither of us could stomach the meal anymore.
My mushroom side dish was a bowl of straight up oil. And the cherry on top was when I noticed there was a deceased fly in my glass of wine 🥲 Told the server and he called his supervisor over. We explained how bad the meal was and I showed her the glass of wine with the floating freebie. She didn’t bill us for the wine & steaks. I commend the supervisor & the server cos they handled the complaint very politely. Now here’s where things get strange. The supervisor explained that the meat probably tasted/smelled bad due to the thawing process. That they thawed the meat in the morning on Tuesdays as they couldn’t estimate how many orders they would be getting (if I understood correctly). Does that mean that the unused meats are refrozen? And is the meat left out at room temp the entire day? Because that would explain why it tasted/smelled bad.

Was unaware the turkey sandwich was unavailable, was munching on nachos until my date finished half his sandwich. Asked the server about my sandwich, and they told me it was unavailable. Told them someone should have informed me, because I was 100% unaware.
I thought the waitress who took my order was going to apologise, but instead she came Over and told me “I thought i told you it was unavailable?” In a very annoyed manner, I told her “when? Because I was under the impression my food was on the way”, and she proceeded to gaslight me telling me It did happen, getting more annoyed with me. The whole interaction left me upset and lose my appetite, so yeah I ended up having bloody nachos for dinner.
Another waitress asked if we wanted drinks, but we told her our friends are nearby so we’d wait for them to order together. 5 mins after my friend sat down, they passed us the bill. My date asked them why are they handing us the bill when we’re not done yet. Honestly after that we just left because it was not a vibe.

(Not once but TWICE) My parents visited Bukit Damansara branch on 02.01.2021 (Saturday) in the afternoon and after almost finishing their coffee, they were horrified to saw a lipstick stain on the cup and immediately they informed the staff on duty. The staff then waived the price of the coffee on their bill.
Later, during a casual conversation with my friend she brought up the same encounter and we were shocked to find out that it happened on the same day in the same branch! Except that she went in the morning and my parents went in the afternoon. Also, she had alerted the staff on duty regarding the coffee stain but luckily she noticed the stain before she drank it.
I am very disappointed that Gravy Baby did not take immediate action to inspect all their coffee cup and allowing this to happen AGAIN on the same day. Especially now during the pandemic.
