DÔME (Gleneagles) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I stopped coming to dome post-pandemic due to food quality drop and service was just terrible. However, due to unforseen circumstances, I came back with family to dine-in after visiting a patient. I'm quite happy that Dome has improved since. I'm quite fond of the nasi lemak. The rice was really fragrant, something that is quite rare to find in cafe/restaurant and even from street vendors. Except the sambal can be a bit salty. Dome salad was yum for a light lunch/dinner. Even pizza (I had Tuscan with the fam) was delicious. Seafood Marinara was just average for me since I'm not a fan of seafood. But again, this is just a personal preference on my taste buds. Unfortunately, I was only able to take a picture of the Seafood Marinara. I want to thank Mr. Rohaizat for his exceptional service. He went beyond for his service and always handle patrons with thought and care to their orders. My mum is a touch customer, and she was pleased with his exceptional service. Thank you...

Dissapointed. Ordered dome's mineral water for the kids (which is already expensive for malaysian standards), but they told us they ran out and told us we have to buy evian water (small) for 15 ringgit per bottle. We asked for hot water, which they said they can only provide one cup per table. We are a party of six. Ridiculous! I have to beg to get 4 cups of hot water. We asked for cup of ice, and they cant even provide us that. Then another kind server came, and provide us a few cup of ice with no qualms compared to the first server. Our total orders came around RM 300+, but we have to beg for plain water. So disappointed. The food is not bad. That's all i can say. I hope the management can change their policy with regards...

food : very ordinary, mix of western and asian ... but of consistent quality

prices are high for what you get but remember, you're stuck at a hospital and need sustenance

staff : engaged, efficient and helpful ... especially Ain

food issue:

roasted chicken leg ... odd smell and a weird stringy texture to the meat ... unacceptable ... sent it back, nobody came back to me about it ... was billed for it, paid

staff ... still very good
