Plus points: decent location, well lit parking. Lots of eating and supermarket options in surrounding buildings. Which means you don’t have to spend too much time in the apartment… which is a good thing. The agent forgot to give us the car access card that permitted us to enter the compound automatically, so for the first 2 days we had to wait for the already very busy security guards to come to our car and verify that we were legitimately living there. There was a washing machine. But you would be charged extra for electricity if you went over a certain level of usage… this was ironic considering the following: The apartment wasn’t very clean; floors a bit sticky, and this would be ok if you’ve just come off a jungle trek in the rainforest. Baby cockroaches ran out of each kitchen drawer, and they contained a mishmash of and insufficient cutlery and drinkware Eg. 3 mugs as the only drinking vessels, 3 forks and 2 tablespoons, no teaspoons. No teatowels or any towels but we did get a fairly new dishwashing sponge, and an almost full bottle of dishwashing detergent. Anyway I used disposable cutlery as the cockroaches grossed me out. The bin lid was dirty and you had to lift it each time to throw something in. The toilets had a stench, and it looked like the showers had just been used. Bathroom floors were wet when we arrived. No bathroom mats. 1 toilet roll per bathroom, total of 2 ostensibly enough for a family of 4 for 5 nights… yup… luckily I did not use the bathroom for 5 nights. The light in one bathroom had fused. The bedrooms were all right, but I was already grossed out by the cockroaches and the smelly bathrooms. The coffee table surface was crooked so things slid off it. There were cockroaches each time I opened the door to the apartment. One of the chairs was broken. They sent someone to fix the light bulb, and “fix the cockroaches” which was just them spraying a whole load of Baygon into the drawers containing the kitchen utensils. Yup, not using those. ever. And of course, all they did was to put a piece a silicon mat over the drainage trap to stop the smell so if you’re not icked out by it all, you go lift it before you start showering. And they left a glade air freshener and an air freshener spray. Nope, I didn’t shower there either.
A minor point, the front door was stained and a strip of concrete had fallen off the wall next to the door frame.
If you want to try it out, bring your own kitchen towels, cleaning equipment, cutlery, cereal or pasta bowls, baygon, laundry detergent, soap, bathroom mats, cleaning spray, air freshener, cockroach traps, mosquito repellent as we were bitten and killed a few of the aedes mosquitoes, (31st floor).
Parking was on the A side of the parking lots which means you have to walk up a short flight of steps, open a door to get you to the Lift lobby that is shared with the B side. Some lifts don’t go to your floor. Some do. On the second day, the door handle from the car park at the top of the stairs broke completely and we couldn’t access the lift lobby from that side. So you park at your lot then walk down the carpark ramp to the B side of whichever floor and you can then...
Read moreWe stayed for over one month and booked with Airbnb. Well in general I would say the location is not bad 3 km from klcc, grocery store 5 min walk and a shopping mall close by as well. The pool and the gym are nice and functional.
About the apartment: When we arrived at the building the security and the staff where really nice they let us check in even when we were 2 hours early. But when we got into the apartment it looked really not clean. I checked everything and there was a list I had to send them. Stove was broken Fan didn't work Really bad smell in the apartment because if the bathrooms No equipment in the kitchen like forks, knifes and so on Tv didn't work because of the remote The lightswitches didn't have covers. The sink wasn't connected. Washing machine is really bad(not properly washing) Wifi is really bad.
So I told them fix it all or give us a proper apartment cause we paid 1100 dollar for a month and this is just a joke. They fixed most of it really fast but we had the disgusting smell the whole time. Next thing was about cleaning i asked them to provide a mop so we can clean, they told us 80 rm for a cleaning service but seriously the place wasn't clean when we got there why should we pay for cleaning if they are not able to clean properly...(will add some pictures)
And after 3 days worms appeared in the bathroom we washed them away but always 2 days later there where new ones...(had them every couple of days) the management didn't answer about the Smell when I texted them again... Also the apartment looked cheaply renovated but not cleaned after they were done. Dirty windows, dirty walls, dirty floor. There are many more things I could complain about but i guess this is enough for most people 😂
For us it looks like some bad investor is buying cheap apartments to rent them on a high level price but is not willing to invest in good stuff. Everything in the apartment is really cheap quality. It looks nice on pictures but in real life it is not really functionally and bad quality. So in my opinion not worth the money they are asking for. So there are plenty of better places to rent in Kl this one is not worth the 1 star I gave.
Ohh I almost forgot 2 days before check out they send me a list of fees i have to pay if something is broken and believe me the list is 3 times higher than what they payed for stuff......
Read moreThis was literally the worst experience ever with this host “Nowhere.” So bad, honestly. I booked the apartment for 13 nights with my husband and baby — and it was a nightmare. The photos don’t show how dirty the place really is. The smell from the sewage is unbearable, and there’s mold everywhere. Even the remotes for the aircon and fans don’t work.
I complained several times, and guess what? No real help at all. They only brought me an iron after I asked so many times. About the smell? They just gave me an air freshener — even though I told them clearly it’s coming from the sewage!
It’s been making us sick, and we try to stay outside as much as we can. Seriously, these were the worst days ever. You can’t imagine sleeping surrounded by mold. Even the blanket was brown inside.
Disgusting place, and the host just didn’t care at all.
For your information, the host literally said, “We’ll just give you a vacuum, you buy the cleaning stuff and mop and clean it yourself.” 🫠 I swear, it felt like I paid to stay on the street.
🙂 Also, they only give you one key and one access card, so if you’re more than one person, it’s really not...
