Hi, I would like to have some feedback on the service. We just have our dinner gathering at Solaris branch last Friday.

At first I changed my booking from 7 pax to 5 pax, but at the end, when we entered, the other 2 friends confirmed, we mentioned 7 pax (we can add chairs, as still spacious, and

Then when we entered, one of your counter servicing said,不是說5位咩,又換? Emmm… is this the correct way?

Then I’m not sure you guys has time limit for eating or not, cause no one mentioned during reservation or enter. Just pass us menu and So we expected if got people, you guys will informed us. But no other customer around, we all sitting to chit chat and continue eating gone the restaurant was empty that time).

Your staff all gossiping around us (we sitting nearby to the counter). Like showing us, why you all still here. Then about 10pm, one of the girl came to us said can she clear the table, we okay with it. But she only cleared 1 set then went to other colleague to gossip said we looks like still want to continue sitting (our friend still eating).

Then we requested to add hot water for tea, your staff taking their dinner and we saw them showing eyes to each other and sign to each other, still adding water, want to sit until what time.

We don’t mind you tell us directly you want to close or what. But not gossiping around. The space is not big, and we are able to see and hear.

Ended up, we left because saw a big rat from the aircond to your ceiling and the staff don’t even care and bother about it. Also, the sauces area got 2 cockroaches around which your staff no response to it as well.

Honestly, it was a bad experience for us as first time customer.

Overall: salty soup bad services cleanliness issue not well trained staff (not even pass us order sheet and intro us on the recommended but nvm, the attitude still the most important which they gossiping about customer,...

As a loyal customer, I must say that I truly appreciate the food in your restaurant. Your Tsing Tao 100 cans promotion, priced at RM1 a can, was fantastic. I believe such initiatives intend to attract more customers, enhancing your overall business. However, I find it necessary to bring a crucial point to your attention that negatively affects your customer retention: the excessive oil in your dishes. Several friends, who have dined here upon my recommendation, agree with me. Although they were quite happy with the taste of your food, they were also put off by its high oil content. The health-conscious among us find this particularly concerning, especially when accompanied by a cold beer. Every occasion I've dined at your place, I have explicitly requested "less oil." Yet, it seems your chefs (I have requested different chefs) don't know how to cook with less oil. The dishes continue to be overly oily, even the basic stir-fried items. I've attached a photo showing the surplus oil extracted from a simple stir-fried beef dish and stir-fried spicy lala. I have to discard half a bowl of oil from what should ideally be a drier, minimally oily stir-fried dish. Practically, both dishes were soaked in oil! If the management of Da Miao Hotpot is reading this, please take this feedback seriously. I believe reducing oil usage could bring more customers back to your restaurant.

Note: I have tried all the 3 branches, Kuchai, Solaris and Bangsar, and they are all with the...

Ordered the pork bone broth and tomato soup. The soup came very flavoured without adding anything in. You could really taste the richness of the pork in the broth and actual tomatoes (unlike some tomato broth which tasted somewhat artificial).

The ingredients were quite fresh and there's quite a wide selection of ingredients to choose from. However, what was surprising was the lack of pork meat slices choice. There was a lot of beef choices to choose from.

Halfway through, both soups got way too salty although most of our ingredients were mostly vegetables, mushroom and starch noodles. It's gotten too salty up to a point where my tongue felt a bit numb from possibly the amount of MSG or seasoning they used in the soup. Two cans of 100 plus did not provide any relief as after the meal, I was just constantly looking for things to drink to satiate the thirst.

Come here for the selection of the ingredients but for those who prefer cleaner tasting broth, this is probably not the place for you.

1x beef slices 1x handmade shrimp paste 1x baby cabbage 1x crown daisy 1x enoko mushroom 1x lotus root 1x white radish 1x starch noodles Twin soup base 2x tsingtao beer cans 2x 100plus cans 1x iced water

Type: Chinese Restaurant / Hot Pot Signature: Hotpot Very confusing restaurant with a few names probably due to change in management. Firstly the Google Map shows Da Miao Hot Pot and the Centre Signboard reads Da Mui Hot Pot and the Front Signboard is Shuguo. I presume this is Shuguo. Shuguo is more a Hot pot restaurant rather than a Chinese restaurant. We ordered a wide variety of food and the Steamboat / hot pot was so so only. The pork bone soup is average and so is the ma la hotpot. We ordered the Spicy Crab also but it was super salty. We sent it back to the kitchen to reduce the saltiness but it came back just as salty. The Salted Vegetable Fish was quite ok and nice. The Toman fish was really fresh and nice. We also tried the Hui Guo Rou (Pork) and it blends well with man tou. Well on the overall I think the hotpot is average only but the Chinese dishes we ordered were quite good. Oh, one good thing is that they serve the Harbin Beer which is pretty rare in Malaysia.
