Chagee @ Solaris Mont Kiara — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I recently visited the Chagee branch at Solaris Mont Kiara and had a disappointing experience with the staff. After making my payment, I expected to receive a receipt, as it contains the QR code required to collect points on their website. However, the staff informed me that they couldn’t provide a receipt.

When I asked for a solution, the first staff member couldn’t offer any and called a colleague over. The second staff member suggested I reorder through their merchandise web, but since I had already paid, that was not a feasible solution. When I pointed this out, the second staff member started showing a sour face and repeated the same response without offering any viable resolution. Both of them simply stared at me, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.

To make matters worse, there was no notice or sign at the counter to inform customers about the receipt issue beforehand. At the very least, they could have displayed a simple notice to notify customers, instead of waiting until I paid to inform me of the problem.

When I expressed my frustration and said, "So funny," the staff reacted inappropriately by mocking my words with sour expressions, repeating "So funny" back at me.

I hope Chagee takes this feedback seriously and improves the professionalism and problem-solving skills of their staff. Customers deserve better service and proper handling of issues, especially something as basic as...

This message serves as a formal complaint about the ongoing issue I have faced during multiple visits, specifically when the same staff member is on duty.

Despite previous attempts to address this matter, I have regrettably experienced the same problems during my recent visit. The staff member in question displayed a rude and dismissive attitude towards me, while treating the next male customer with a completely different level of courtesy and respect.

Chagee @ Solaris Mont Kiara is a pleasant surprise. The service was professional from start to finish – no fuss, no fake friendliness, just efficient and respectful.

The space itself is calm and thoughtfully designed. Clean layout, soft lighting, and a few picture-worthy corners that don’t feel overdone. It’s not trying too hard, which I appreciate.
