Ambience - good for pints and chats

Drinks- Beer are served chilled and not watered down. Red wine that came free with the pork chop was also good.

Menu/Taste/Price Ordered 3 dishes - caesar salad, pork chop and grilled chicken sandwich

The salad was such a disappointment. In the menu, it was stated that the salad would be served with bacon bits (to which in any circumstances, an average customer would at least expect to see bit and pieces of bacon). However, what was served was just a bowl of romaine lettuce, half an boiled egg, some croutons, sparing amount of cheese, and a sprinkle of what I would say- “Bacon Dust”. At first, we assumed that they have forgotten to add the bacon and asked if we could have it. What we got in reply was the little spec of golden dust on the salad was the bacon bits. The waitress however took note on our disappointment and provided us with an additional serving of the “bacon bits”. What is disappointing here is the fact that the salad was priced at RM22, and all we got was just something that was not worth the price at all to the extend of making us feel ripped off.

On the grilled chicken sandwich, it was clearly stated in the menu that the sandwich is served with fries and coleslaw. When served, there was only fries. When enquired, we were told the coleslaw only applies to the burgers, which was in the same section of the sandwiches. Either the menu is misleading, which is not fair to the customers as it a representation of the orders that the customers expect or its just a cover up, we are not sure. But after explaining that we expected the coleslaw as it was stated, the waitress provided us with the serving of it.

In both situations, although we could sense the annoyance in the waitress’ response, they did serve us with the bacon and coleslaw at the end.

Grilled chicken was a bit dry for the sandwich. Pork chop was tasty and juicy with the right amount of spice, but would have appreciated if there was a couple of sides, ie fries to go with it.

Overall, just feel that the price doesn’t justify the food served. Drinks on the...

Update (25 October, 2023): We always come here for the pork chop. We loved the succulent and tender meat. However, the last time we came, the lean part of the chop was a little on the dry side. Tonight, it was plain dry and tough, to the point it was difficult to chew. The fish and chips was not bad, but the batter wasn't as good as what it used to be. The cream spinach was still to die for, but we can't come back just for that. Prices have gone up too, and while portion sizes remained the same, we expected the food and taste quality to be maintained as well.

30 July, 2023: I've been here so many times that I've lost count. It's always been good. Finally got around to posting a review for this outlet. By default, I'll always go for the pork chop on the bone, classic fish and chips and cream spinach spaghetti. And I always order an extra helping of cream spinach. Yes, it...

One of the worst experience i had and dissatisfactory with one of the workers there (Bangladeshi guy). He told me and my friends that if we can't wait for our food to just cancel and go somewhere else, given the fact we already waited for almost an hour for our food. I think in no establishment this should over happen. Moreover he doesn't wear a uniform which to my suspicious this person could be working there without proper documentation. I hope the management will look into this and take this matter seriously as 1 persons action could damage the restaurants reputation. Certainly i will not be returning again and i would not recommend anyone to go...

Very warm and beautiful atmosphere. Clean and well set up. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Both main course were a letdown. The signature pork chop was really dry and overcooked… the red snapper was also dry and overcooked. Side dishes are great, the pork chop gravy is excellent. Cajun fries nice. Cauliflower soup is also good and the sourdough that comes with it was excellent. Price is also very reasonable. Hope they improve on the doneness of the meat they cook. **The dessert is also excellent albeit a bit pricey.
