I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Fish Ball Noodle House, and it was a truly unique dining experience as the seating area was inside the owner's house. Eating at their dinner table was definitely amusing, and the boss who prepared the noodle was quite an interesting character. While I received a bit of scolding when I tried to change my order or leave my table to pay, it didn't detract too much from the overall enjoyable experience.
The fish ball noodle was definitely a highlight of the meal, and I would rate it an 8 out of 10. It was outstanding, and I would certainly return to the Fish Ball Noodle House in the future if I was in the mood for this type of cuisine. The novelty of dining inside someone's home certainly adds to the overall enjoyment.
Overall, the Fish Ball Noodle House is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a unique dining experience. Just be prepared for a potentially gruff boss and some strict rules. While the food is good, the standout dish for me was the delicious fish...
Read moreWent to this shop today and was really disappointed and honestly shocked by the way the owner treated customers, especially the elderly. A 70ish-year-old uncle was just trying to place his order, and the staff (who I believe is the owner) yelled at him for no good reason and shoo him away. It was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. 😡
On top of that, there’s a serious hygiene issue. The owner kept coming out from his station to smoke right next to customers’ tables, and then went straight back to handle the food, grabbing noodles without washing his hands. Really unhygienic and off-putting.
The food is just okok only, and it’s definitely overpriced. Not worth it if you have to put up with bad service and poor hygiene.
I won’t be coming back. Respect and cleanliness matter, no matter how famous...
Read moreDisappointing fish ball noodles. Nothing to shout about except the pretty good soup broth. But price however, is definitely on the high side costing an abysmal RM11 per bowl despite only having fish balls and fish cake, no pork slices or anything like that. Drinks also were very high priced, crysantemum tea? RM4! Only for a tiny maybe 200ml bottle. What surprises me more is that this mostly a "drinkers" place because many table had multiple beer bottles and some even had "girls" which makes dining here with family and especially kids abit uncomfortable. Possibly my first and last...
