Iāve always been a fan of Jujube Vegetarian Houseāvisited their Puchong and Subang Jaya outlets before, and the food quality is consistently good. Thatās why I decided to try their Kepong branch this time. As expected, the food here was tasty, and the portions generous. We ordered a wide variety, including dry curry pan mee, char siew rice, fruit rojak, stir-fried kangkung, and some drinks and tong shui. I have no complaints about the tasteāeverything was satisfying. But hereās the confusing partāour bill came up to RM97.30, and the breakdown included both a 6% service charge and an additional 6% service tax (SST). Plus, we were also charged a mysterious RM1 add-on fee x3, which wasnāt explained clearly in the receipt or by the staff. Whatās strange is, at both Puchong and Subang Jaya branches, I was only charged the usual 6% service charge, and thatās itāno extra SST, and certainly no extra add-ons. Same brand, similar menu, but only this branch is charging differently. I couldnāt help but wonder⦠why is this branch the odd one out? If thereās a valid reason, I think it would be helpful if the restaurant could explain it or display the breakdown clearly. Itās not about the few extra ringgitāitās about transparency and consistency. I still appreciate the food and the pleasant environment, and I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve clarity in billing. It would definitely make regular customers like me feel...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here for dinner to try out a new place. They offer regular single dishes, as well as a steamboat hotpot. The place was quite clean and the atmosphere was nice. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
We ordered the fish head meehoon, ginger lion mane mushroom rice, braised pork rice, and spring rolls. The best out of the bunch was the ginger lion mane mushroom rice, as the ginger flavour wasnāt too pronounced in the gravy, but still brought out a nice gingery taste. Fish head meehoon was not too bad too, but had a slight soya taste. Braised pork rice was very yam-based, so the āmeatā texture is quite absent. Flavour wise has a 5 spice flavour that defers abit from the regular non-vegetarian version. Spring rolls were crispy and flavourful, making it a nice snack to pair with our mains.
All in all, the food and ambience was quite nice, but Iāll say that thereās nothing particularly special. One of the better vegetarian restaurants but not...

New review: been some time did not come here, this morning bringing my family to here and not really pleasant. I saw one round table inside in cleaning. So I want to go in, there is a red clothing waiter stopping me and claiming there is people waiting in queue. I could see 3 people there only, but Im in rush so 5 of us sit outside. Then I saw the big round table occupied by some other people after 10min(not even sure where they coming from) š and they move the customer from thag round table like 2/3 times, now finally with 5/6 people which just...
