大隻蟹 Big Big Crab Kepong (HQ) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Food is so so . The sour & chili crab taste flat . The sauce is so watery and not even tasted right. It’s more tasted sweet than sour . The carb is fresh but too bad the sauce isn’t right . The fish is not crispy and the size is too big for 4 of us . The prawn taste very nice and fresh . Soup is good . Rice is hard and not a good grade one . I think they should change the rice to fragrance rice like thai or any good quality rice . The man tau is also not crispy and it’s like never fried at all . We have to wait for more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive and they serve the first dish which is the long beans and the soup and the rice . And the rest of the dishes come only after 10 minutes . This is not good to serve the dishes that way and our rice is already cold . I’m pretty sure they can improve more on the Services . And also I would like to mention that waitress is asking us to write a review on Google so that we can untitled a plate of fruits or agar agar dessert . And the aunty asked us to do the review thrice . So I’m not sure the 5 stars review here are genuine or not . Attracted by the crowd. Business was very good, waited maybe 30 mins for my meal. Asam steam fish head 松鱼 The sauce is sour and thick, very appetite to eat with rice. Seem the sauce was too little. The fish me eat was a lot with the price however they over steamed it. So the fish meat was kinda mushy already. Fermented bean curd fried chicken wings & french bean with dried shrimp both were up to the par.

Staff are very friendly. According to the staff, the previous hotpot also operated by the same boss, they just changed the dishes offered. It just a month operating. operating hour 12noon - 10 pm (last call 9pm)

Worst experience ever!!! The crab was not fresh and it was fried with salty creamy sauce. Other dishes are super salty too. The so called 'captain' lady was demanding and pushing us to rate 5 stars before we can even place order, to entitle for promo prices. It doesn't make any sense to rate prior to even taste and experience the overall. They must have known their low service level, hence trying to get FORCED reviews.
