The roast chicken stall run by the owner, slathered with thin soy sauce, is firm-textured and roasted fresh daily, the rice fluffy and fragrant but not overly so. This is the working man’s food, and one of the better ones. Accompaniments include char siew, which is sweet and well-textured. It is very good, but not excellent char siew. is a OK for many working man's food. The accompanying ginger-chilli sauce is sweetish and a must for chicken rice. A plate of chicken rice, one portions of chicken breast, a side of char siew cost RM9 of course with complimentary soup. minus the char siew is RM 7.50
