Mars Hotel Setapak — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

stayed for a weekend night, 2adults 1 toddler & 1baby, booked for 1queen 1single room @RM139.

this hotel doesn’t provide electric kettle in the room but still got coway machine , for mommies need to prepare thermos siap2 la, for ironing can get from housekeeping @9am above. for parents with toddler need to extra carefull as window lock can manually open easily. toilet also has open space as there's no partition glass & the toilet door has no lock haha, access card only got 1.

they also doesn’t provide extra blanket and no microwave. the staff also great people nicely. the hotel was at strategic & busy location, kinda hard to find parking since there're public parking area also got 24hrs mamak at the corner also few chinese restaurants.

For me, is just good & nice, such convenient to me as this hotel just newly renovated, has great ambiance n cleanliness. Can consider child & OKU friendly hotel as lift/elevator also provided...

i have bad experience in this hotel on the day im arrived my phone is accidentally fall down in the lift i ask the management to call the lift maintenance but the management drag my time about 3 hours. they doing nothing. I ask the lift maintenance number they give me wrong number. I really piss off with the management. I ask the staff to call manager but the manager even more worst he never come and attend what issue going on. he simply ask the staff to solve the problem but my problem has not been solved till 3hrs. Finally i have managed find the maintenace number and i pay him to open the lift and take my phone from underground. The management not responsible for nothing. Really...

The interior design of the lobby area makes me feel comfortable, cozy and looks professional even its a small hotel. But the staff need to be more cust. friendly or welcoming. They have lift and door lock using key card like big hotels. My room overall quite comfortable, its ID simple but nice. Slight noisy as its facing main road. However there is cigarette odour which turn me down a bit. Cigaratte odour at the hall way is stronger. Toilet very clean. Hot water good. Bed and pillow is average. Bed sheet is cleen but very old.
