We had bad experience dining here tonight. We ordered a few items and all items were served quite fast. Only the steam rice took 45 min. We checked with 1 of the waiters after 20 mins and why took so long. Waiter went to check but nvr come back to provide update. We asked him and he said kitchen is preparing. After another 20 mins, we checked with another waiter…..same thing, she checked and nvr update. We then asked for update, and started complaining. 20 mins ago, kitchen preparing, 20 mins later, food not served. Then they came back saying another 3 mins. When the food was served, it was not hot, though it’s not cold like straight from the fridge. Review 1: when customer asked to check on the food, you should check and come back, provide update. That’s now how service is. Review 2: these steam rice are ready made dishes. It should NOT take 40 mins to serve yet it was not hot! Process improvement is required. If this is the case, customers should be informed that these steam rice need to wait for at least 30 mins (which I don’t think anyone wants to wait for this long). Review 3: generally the tong sui and pork bun is ok but price is on a steep side. But the service and your kitchen managing SOP needs to...

Absolutely horrifying experience. Ordered two of the most basics traditional dessert - Mango Pomelo & Longan Beancurd. You would think it’s impossible to go wrong. Well, jokes on me.

(1) Mango Pomelo

For a start, the mangos were not sweet at all. It was hard and sour. Reminded me of the green mangos I had in Thailand. Next, pomelo were not ripe as well, carried a very heavy tinge of bitterness. Ice (if there should even be that much ice in the first place) was in chunks and super flakey, giving the entire dessert a very horrible texture.

(2) Longan Beancurd

The Almond Beancurd taste nth like almond. It feels very much like Agar Agar powdered recipe. Longans almost didn’t exist, soup base has no taste.

While I didn’t expect a Michelin star dessert stall, I feel that I deserved a decent fare. If I could share some photos here, I wld but it seems that mobile interface is preventing me from doing so.

Absolutely disappointing and never going back again.

On a side note, when I arrived at the outlet, 1/3 of the menu were out of stock. Lalaport no doubt was a quiet mall but basics still needs to be met. I implore that anyone who wishes to patronise this stall,...

SETAPAK BRANCH : 1000/10 for the food. Best tong shui with a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy.

The food all so nice everytime I come I have difficulty to pick what I want to eat.

Nasi lemak is nice (must with fried chicken), fried meehon also nice. The polobun with pork chop series is superb, cheap & tasty. Decent HUGE pork chop in a hot crunchy polobun.

Tongshui wise I always go for mango dessert because the food is hot I need something cold to cool down.
