Overloaded Western KL — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Okay, so I went for the second time and I just HAVE TO write an out standing review to them! Must I warn you, for the price, portion, taste and surrounding. It is absolutely amazing. Don't go say it doesn't taste like Laman Grill or Chilli's etc.

The gap between my first and second visit was more or less a year. I felt like trying it for the second time just to see whether they still keep their standards and they did! Bravo! The spaghettis are still a mountain sized. Could use a lil bit more seasoning but hey it still taste delicious! The meat ballssssss! I have always loved their meatballs, I like that they are not too rubbery and spongy. All of their sauces are to die for. I give you guys 10 stars for making your own sauces. My fish and chips still tasted the same as I could remember (eventhough the portion of the fish has become smaller a bit) - crispy and not "soak" in oil. I didn't get to taste your famous lava chocolate cake but I have a feeling it is still as decadent as before.

Keep up the good work! and keep up the good work with that Watermelon Juice! i love it even at the very last drop.

Before this my expectation was high especially when this place was visited by JJCM & the reviews are quite good. But after we iftar there, they totally blew it. Or i'd say that one big snobbish guy had screwed all up.

It began when we got there earlier to pick a table. Normally they would let us pick which side we want right, but he didnt let us because he was reserving that table for other cust. Ok so we just kept quite.

Then when its almost iftar time we want to get food from the buffet. My mom asked him nicely "can we take the food now?". After 3 times asking, only then he answered yes without even looking at my mom! How snobbish and rude is that?

Ok abt the food, its just so-so. Nothing special. In fact my chicken grill is very bland its like they forgot to put seasoning when prepping the chicken. But the sauce for meatball is good. The pasta is not well cooked, i believe they cooked it rushingly.

For the ambience, mosquitoes there were really huge! Be cautious especially people who bring kids.

All in all, this will be our first & last time eating there. Not...

Hd birthday dinner celebration here. Parking was ok, by the roadside. Lots of food to choose from. The chicken meat could do with a little bit more seasonings. Accompanied coleslaw can be improved. The "Mixed Grill" menu, besides the lamb & beef, the chicken was actually chicken chop instead of grilled chicken. Overall the price was reasonable. When the owner (I guessed) knew we were celebrating a birthday of my son, my son was presented with a free piece of chocolate cake with 2 scoops of ice cream as a surprise & a birthday song.
