I recently dined at Pepper and was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the ambiance. The restaurant offers a thoughtfully curated menu that caters to a wide range of tastes, whether you're in the mood for something hearty or looking for a lighter option. The dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful, showing attention to detail in both preparation and ingredients.
One of the standout features of Pepper is the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort, making it an ideal spot for anything from a casual meal to a special occasion. The staff were attentive, especially the restaurant manager, Ms.Daisy, who is friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations that made our dining experience even better.
Overall, Pepper is a gem that offers not just a meal but an experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere. It’s definitely a place I’ll be...
Read moreA beautiful setting and solid service don’t make up for pretty nutty prices and okay but not fantastic food.
Their beer tap wasn’t working so that’s a problem, but overall, servers tried hard and the interior is very tasteful and upscale.
The Cubano I had is nowhere close to an actual Cubano, so not sure why they name it that, but on its own merits, it was a pretty decent sandwich. The veal shank had interesting soft cartilage bits and the cheese, while a bit liquid, was a tasty cheddar-like yellow cheese (thought it was more like American). Bread was delicious thick cut sourdough with too much butter as usual, but every restaurant does that for grilled sandwiches. It really did need more mustard and ham of any kind to be closer to the real thing, but at least there were pickles (not sour enough).
Obviously not worth rm42, especially with no sides of any kind, but I wouldn't be upset if they offered it at around 30 and changed the name.
I like Pepper's vibe though so might come back to try dinner but for now, just an...
Read moreEarly breakfast is always my thingy, they open at 8am which extremely easy to find parking. The hot matcha latte and ice milk coffee is too blunt, can’t really taste the kick from both drinks.
Pistachio crossaint tasted not bad however the pastry is not crispy enough therefore it’s kind of rough and tough to chew.
Salmon brekkie’s mushroom filling hidden at the center tasted too sweet for me. The gravy it’s kind of turn me off for the whole dishes as I was expected something savoury. Pepper’s big brunch is very filling especially the avocado and overall it’s definitely nicer than normal big breakfast that you can find in any cafe.
In terms of the prices, you will be expecting to pay slightly more compare to a lot of places. My references, as long as good service, nice ambiance and dishes are yummy, it’s worth paying.
This bistro I would said not too bad just the pastry is kind of disappointing since I’m so into French pastry, you may give it a try. Different people different standard, different...
