This place is our third alternative for a walk when we are in TTDI area. Nice and quiet ambience which has a few ponds and even a river running in it. A good place for brisk walking as the paved parts are level and shaded by tall trees most of the time. There are some serious 'bird's watchers' around today, well equiped with telescope and equipment. I was surprised at first why would people come here to watch birds but until I saw probably a 'hawk eagle' pitched on a dead tree top. So magnificent this bird seemed to me. Nearby I also saw some yellow birds chipping and flying around. The river flowing in this place is the Sungei Penchala I think, just follow the sound of running water and you will find it. The plus thing is that there are toilets facilities and even a 'surau' here. Stay safe, have a good walk! Today's walk was rewarding, upon completion of a round, was pleasantly surprised by the sweet smell of some tiny white flowers. Haven't seen them before on these trees, probably it's the blooming season now....
Read moreNice, peaceful and beautiful park with adequate public facilities such as toilets (it was closed on Sunday evenings), benches ans tables, football field, even camping and caravan sites. Has some lakes, lush greenery and canopies, so the park is still cool and shady in the afternoons. There's a village next to it so it doesn't feel too quiet. Ample parking space and few people during Sunday evenings. Clean and well-maintained grass, has rubberized and concrete tracks, even a couple of scenic spots for photography, though more can be done to add attractions to this nice little sanctuary in the middle of a...
Read moreVery pleasant, mostly well maintained and pleasingly small state park which often gets very overlooked because of the nearby TTDI Park and Bukit Kiara. However, I think that's part of its appeal as it's often very quiet in there ever at peak times.
Only downside is that people use it as a parking lot so the car park is full yet there's 3 people in the park itself which I think is a bit of a problem. In most countries they'd do something about that but seems accepted here. However, in TTDI when it comes to parking it's every driver for themselves as everyone...
