Tucked away in the heart of Taman Wahyu, there's a hidden gem that has withstood the test of time: the cozy and capacious E&O restaurant. An establishment that spreads its welcoming arms across three shop lots, it's a beacon of culinary tradition, having served satisfied patrons for over four decades. E&O's forte lies in an illustrious fish head curry and an assortment of classic 'mamak' favorites. Each dish they offer is a celebration of unique curry flavors, a testament to their mastery over the gravy arts. They serve up vegetables that retain their crunch and fish head curry that hits the perfect note of doneness. Portions are generous, reflecting the value for money. Surprisingly, even the simple act of rice cooking is elevated here, resulting in fluffy, perfectly cooked grains – a rarity even among the most established of eateries. The emphasis on hygiene shines through, with spotless premises and grease-free utensils. E&O is a place I’m eager to revisit, with the mutton curry high on my list of must-tries.
However, granting a full score eludes them, as the journey there is half the battle – navigating to this culinary oasis is no simple feat, compounded by the challenging parking situation that awaits. Still, the flavors that await are worth the...
Read moreLocation : A lil bit hard to find even if you come with google maps / waze. Its located at residential area, a hidden place / not by the main road you might lost when entering main road or other residential area.
Food : The food is great, everything that Ive ordered is come in fresh, the fish curry is top tier. Much better than mamak curry. Fried octopus is crunchy, the vege is fresh and not too salty. Overall my experience here is perfect.
Service : The service is great, they was a lot of staff to serve you, you can get to your seat first or ordered in front of restaurant, not even 10 minutes your order was there. Bit crowded when peak hour mainly on lunch hour might need to reserved if you all get there by group of friend/family.
Price : The price is a lil bit expensive but Its acceptable because the food was perfect, fresh, hot fish curry, fresh fried octopus, crunchy. I've take some pictures for some of you that will might peak your interest.

Read moreLOCATION: Don't be confused while driving to this place as you'd be entering a gated/guarded residential area and this shop is somewhere in the middle of the houses. PARKING: many parking spaces around the shop (not sure about parking ticket though - probably may not need as it is a residential area; just dont block people's houses). FOOD: tasted great - everything. The shop is halal btw. The fish head curry was just nice (not too spicy); fried squid was crunchy and mixed vege was well cooked. Papadams were extra tasty too! PRICE: the pricelist is displayed around the shop, so that's a great thing about being transparent. I would say its worth for the great tasting food. SERVICE: the staff are very courteous and friendly. Efficient and attentive as well. Volunteered to take a picture of our table even without us asking. And food was served pretty fast as well. AMBIENCE: there are 2 zones -non-aircondiitoned and air-conditioned. Can be noisy when crowded. Prefer the cooler zone especially during sunny lunch hours. Otherwise, decent wall deco and lighting. WASHROOM / TOILETS: neat and clean....
