Used to be a solid mamak spot โ the food was decent and the owner made you feel like a VIP. Iโve been coming here since 2012 because of that. But ever since the boss stopped showing up, everythingโs gone downhill.
Staff have gotten worse, service is basically non-existent. I had to call out five times just to get someone to serve me after they were busy chatting among themselves.
Hygiene? Horrible. I saw a staff member touch his face then grab the roti canai with his bare hands โ disgusting. Not to mention flies swarming the lauk, something youโd never see at places like Q Bistro or Kayu, where the prices are similar and the quality of ingredients is better.
To top it off, some guy cut in front of me at the cashier. When I called it out, both him and the cashier just looked at me and the cashier still processed the guyโs order first, even though I was clearly there first.
Honestly, the food is meh at best now โ just something to fill your stomach, no real reason to come back.
If the owner ever comes back and fixes this, maybe Iโll reconsider. Until then, myself and everyone else I know in the neighborhood who share similar frustrations are...
ย ย ย Read moreVisited several times, it's been a long time since we came here and it's shocking to see how the restaurant transformed from the classic old town mamak to the modern ones you see today, they even have an air conditioned section now!
The drinks and food still tasted pretty much the same which I would say is just above average and the food comes quickly.
The price wise is more expensive than before.
